Topic: Duel sense edge controller (durability and spares)

Bought one of the new duel edge controllers as every advantage helps. The ability to swap the thumb controller modules was a great idea and I have already worn one out
The ability to assign 2 extra functions to the underneath of the controller helps with cod etc
However where the regular controller is all plastic coating the duel sense edge has white rubber pads/grips on the inside of where you hold the controller after a time they start to lift away and then split.
PlayStation do not do a replacement part so you have to live with it which is pretty poor in my opinion
If anyone else has had or better still solved this problem I would interested to hear from you

@Neilvk1 That’s unfortunate. I have never had an Edge, but for $200, I’d expect better durability than what you’re describing.

I can see the value of the rubber grip, as I’ve dropped my normal DualSense on account of the handles being slick and the weight distribution of the unit is funky. But rubber is definitely more prone to deterioration and wear.

@Yousef- The analog sticks on my OG DualShock 4 are worn to the nubs because the rubber wears down. So far the type of rubber on the DualSense sticks seem more firm and durable.
