Topic: Hello, I have a PC and PS5 problem

So, I am trying to transfer PS5 stuff to PC, and while linking the USB cable, male to male, from the PS5 to the PC. it keeps saying the USB is not recognized, has malfunctioned and cannot be read. On top of that, the external hard drive that is the PS5 is not showing up on the PC.

Am I doing something wrong here? How do I fix this? Do I need something different in terms of cables to connect the PS5 to the PC? If so, what would you recommend?

Okay, what kind of flash drive? What requirements of it?

Also, out of curiosity, how would the USB stick thing work in terms of data recovery software?
