Topic: I Need PSN Account Help

So long post here, help me if you can thank you...

So, When we set up my PS4 account I was 15 and my mom set up a parents account and made it the system manager. I didn't really play my PS4 for a while but I now want to stream some games but ran into some problems. My account is still set as a child despite being 18+ and the console knows this because I entered my birth date when setting it up and this means that I cannot purchase games, change my account name, or even go into the parents account to change the status. We have tried twice now on two separate occasions to go the parents account and reset the parental controls and nothing worked. So here are my questions...

1. Is there any way to deactivate the parental controls features and change the manager of the console to my account?

2. If not is there any way I could change the email set up on the parents account to my own and then change the name?

3. Is it possible to delete an account even if it is a manager account?

Thanks for anyone who could help. I'm at my last nerve with trynna figure this thing out and I don't want to have to mess with Sony's customer service.

Is it possible to create a new account?
You might need to reset your PS4 (sorry) first of all, back to it’s “shipping condition” - which will then give you choice of signing-in to PSN with an existing account - or creating a new one.

I know you would lose all of your content, but it might be your only option. Think of it as your last resort.
