Topic: Issue with Ghostrunner ps5 update

I recently bought the Hel upgrade for Ghostrunner and was getting ready to play the game and try it out on ps5 for the first time. -I bought the game when it was first released as a ps4 only title-
When I tried downloading the ps5 version, my playstation directed me to the ps store where it wanted me to buy the game.
Looking at it closer, I've seen that the ps4 only edition is separate from the ps4/ps5 edition, even though this was supposed to be a free upgrade? I've tried contacting playstation Belgium about this (my account is a BE one) and they told me there's nothing they can do.

Has anyone else encountered this?

@DenzelDM While I'm not sure I can offer any real help, I just wanted you to know that I also bought the game when it lauched on PS4 and had no problems getting the PS5 upgrade for free when it was released - so that's definitely supposed to be a thing.
Maybe check if there's another version on the store called "upgrade for PS4 version owners" or something like that? I know it was the case for some games but I'm not sure if Ghostrunner was one of them.
Also, if PlayStation can't help you, maybe try contacting 505 Game's support (that's Ghostrunner's publisher).

@Voltan It seems there are 2 versions of the game on the ps store now one only ps4 and one ps4/ps5. for some reason my version is the only ps4 option. :/

After talking with 505's support they ended up sending me a code to buy the ps5 version on the store.. they truly helped out a ton (and put ps customer support to shame)
