Not sure if this belongs here but the other categories don't seem as relevant to this question.
I have the PS5 and currently using a HyperX Cloud 2 that I've had for six years. It's been a fantastic headset but it's now falling apart.
I'm trying to decide to either go with a new model of the Cloud 2, or try out the Cloud Alpha (wired versions preferable).
My question. I've heard whispers around the internet that some folks have experienced what is known as "crosstalk" when chatting to friends while gaming. I commonly see this as an issue reported among PC players. For those who may not know the term. Crosstalk is where other players in a party chat can hear their own voice repeated back to them from your headset. Or hear your game audio in the party.
I'm here asking, does anyone around here use the Cloud Alpha with a PS4/5 in party chat? And if so could you perhaps comment if you've ever noticed this to be an issue on console? It's an annoyance and I'd rather not be an inconvenience around friends.
I've tried posting this in dedicated HyperX forums for weeks with no responses at all. So I'm trying directly among fellow PlayStation gamers.
I also have concerns to the quality now since HP bought HyperX as mine is the Kingston branded prior to the acquisition.
Can anyone share their thoughts? Comments are greatly appreciated.
