Hi all - hopefully someone can get me out of the mess I've found myself in ref PS Plus.
Basically I have a PS5 with a 12 month PS Plus membership and my son has his own PS5 and account (parent / child) which worked perfectly. We shared Digital games and he was able to purchase content which applied to only his user profile.
My daughter now has a PS5 also (again with her own account) but all Digital content is locked to her. The only way I can get this to work is by enabling console sharing on her PS5 which in turn removes the access from my son.
Having read about this online I do believe I should be able to share my access with both children across two consoles but cannot for the life of me work out how!!
I've removed all sharing against every profile (as a reset) but no matter what I can only get one console (in addition to mine) to allow games to be played.
Don't really want to have to pick a favourite child.....thanks for any help in advance!
I was under the impression that you can only share content with one other account at a time. I could be wrong but my brother has a similar issue whereas he can share content with my nephew but when my niece wants to share the same content it locks out my nephew. All 3 live in the same house and each have their own ps5's.
@Northern_munkey thanks for posting, yes the more I dig the more it seems to be the case. Completely insane to spend £1500 on three consoles and not be able to share the content. I think the only solution is to buy another PS Membership in my wife's name and then get a new child account created....as you cannot move a child from the family group. Unbelievable.
@BigFatRichie it sucks. Glad I could help out even if it wasn't the solution you were hoping for. Hope you had a good Xmas and I wish you a merry New year 👍
