Topic: PS4 Pro Issues

I just picked up a PS4 Pro and it's been working great except when closing applications. I have all my applications on an external hard drive and it all works perfectly until I close an app. When it closes it seems to power off my hard drive and then my tv pops up with no hdmi input. My Pro although on is unresponsive and I have to unplug it from the wall. Once rebooted it goes through the powered off incorrectly process and then tells me my external hard drive wasn't disconnected properly and needs to go through the repair process. It goes through this and then everything works again. Has anyone experienced these issues or know a fix?

Try disabling power to USB and Ethernet settings, see if the problem continues. I've had some weird problems with my Pro caused by that.

@Simon_Fitzgerald. How odd I had problems with my external hard drive last night as well and I have a launch day PS4. I got the same message saying that it was disconnected improperly which it wasnt. I then shut off my PS4 unplugged the hard drive checking to make sure all the cords were connected and didn't come lose or something. I hooked everything back up got the repair message, let it fix what was wrong and everything is fine now.

@Tasuki it was absolutely fine on my ps4 but since swapping to the pro its been a constant issue and I'm really not sure how to fix it
