I just got a PS5. One thing I am a complete nerd for is stat tracking; especially time played. The PS5 has a feature that tells you how long you have played a game for; but it isn’t working for me. It shows historical (so my PS4 games are listed there) but anything from Astro’s Playroom onwards doesn’t have any hours assigned. I am connected to PSN and have opened up relevant privacy settings. Am I doing something wrong?
Xbox and Switch both have these and both have their issues too. Xbox is more detailed and finally seems to be working correctly and Switch is just… vague; but seems similar to the PS5 one. Was glad to finally see Playstation get it but come on is it really that hard a feature to implement correctly? The 3DS is still unbeaten with regards to tracking time played.
Anyway can anyone advise if I need to do anything specific to get it working? I have had a google and can’t find anything. Thought I would ask here incase anyone has any tips.
@K1LLEGAL that is strange mate, my time played goes all the way back to my first PS4 game played. Did you have any issue when logging in on your existing account?
@colonelkilgore thanks for the reply. No not at all in fact I just scanned the QR code on the screen with the PS app and it said “is this you?” And I said yes.
It has the PS4 data (though I didn’t go very far back at all) just not anything logging on the PS5.
