Topic: MAG

Just a heads up if anyone is looking to get this game. Ive been tracking down prices and pretty much every retailer want between 50-60 USD for it new and 35 USD used. Ebay can get you a copy for around 20-25 USD. I would recommend getting it that was if possible.

Ill have my copy in a few days and will be retiring MW2 for a good while for some MAG.

I intend to pick this up in the coming weeks to get used to it before the Move update and 2.0 hits. Hopefully we can play some multiplayer

@Turtle.... Ill join Valor so we can play. Im glad you posted that as I really know nothing about the game. Its a FPS and will implement Move and I was sold.

Ive put some serious time into MAG now and Its a great game but very difficult to start up in. I do recommend starting up before you implement MOVE into it and instantly adjust you aiming sensitivity up to the 70+ range.

Damn, I'm going to get destroyed when I give this one a go.

@James.... yeah do that, but do this.... start off with the Assault Class rifle in SVER (more powerful guns) and run through training and level up to get the Red Dot and then whatever you can get perk wise to reduce recoil, shouldnt take but an hour or two and then Medic specs to revive people as it gives the same amount of EXP as Kills. This will make things much easier and anytime you see me on message me and Ill help you out.

.... do note that its going to take a good bit of playtime to write a review. Its takes around 10+ hours or so to even unlock the 256 player matches, but trust me its well worth it. Its insane!

Ten hours plus?! Crikey, better get going then! I don't normally do FPS games so this is a real departure for me... I just hope the Move support patch doesn't clash with Sonic the Hedgehog 4 otherwise I'm out of luck! haha

Lol, you SEGA fanatic you Yeah do expect to put some time into it, but please dont drop this in and review it on a few hours of play. Ill put it this way, I would have given it around a 4/10 withing the first 10-15hrs of gameplay, but around now I would easily score it a solid 8/10. The amount of game you get here is staggering and for the new $30 asking price its a game well worth the money, but man is it hard to start up lol.

(kinda like Etrain Odyssey, Demon Souls, the pain only makes the game better in the end lol)

Damn, I'd really better get going. The Patch is out today so I'll have to squeeze it in this week really. Not sure I can put 15 hours into an FPS mind but I'll do my best!

@James.... just got through reading through all the updates and my PS3 is updating it now, though I wont be able to play it until tommorrow, they have fixed a lot of big issues with this game. The 15% damage added back to automatic guns is mainly the biggest issue that needed to be resolved, but man can you say the developers dont love their gamers here? They really went all out for this.... very imprssive in my book.

The patch changed A LOT! Its now back easy to kill people, no more "squirt guns" as gamers were calling them, as that is exactly what it did feel like. This game has now gotten realism all over it and the new skill trees are great. Zipper you officially rock again!

The whole game feels completely new! It's like i can finally kill people!
The Skill Tree was great before, but now better, and the supply depot was pretty much needed. Seems like all the things i wanted in Black Ops has come into a single update in MAG. And yes, Zipper you do officially rock again!

Now lets wait for the next update

@Turtle... Ill be playing this for a long time to come. I do have a account on Valor that is going to be my main Move account and Im going to specialize in a more tactical approach compared to my all out Assault SVER class. We will have to play sometime.

The amount of stuff to do and ways to play this game is absolutely astounding. Im skipping out on Medal of Honor and Black Ops because Ill be playing this.

@Slapshot, ok. Here's a tip with Valor. Get the [Insert Unlicensed SCAR here] HW at soon as you get the chance. It's the best assault rifle imo.
