Topic: Push Square Tournaments

Not sure if this is already a thread but I was thinking it would be cool to organize tournaments in certain games every month or so and maybe get a leaderboard going? Anyone got any suggestions or ideas?

Rocket League maybe form up a few 4 X 4 teams and do a tournament that way

Yeah would love some kind of friendly tournament between staff and readers, especially if there's little prizes at the end of it like a £10 PSN voucher, a code for an indie game or a Taylor Swift GIF . It might be worth waiting till we here more about the next PS4 update because of this "community" feature, might prove to be useful to organize such things.

If a Taylor Swift prize is the reward forget it, Sammy will just have us playing Tennis games.

I would say Mortal Kombat too, FIFA or PES (Since there are a lot of Europeans here.. ), rocket league.

Also would be great some team coop.... Helldivers, Planetside 2, Battlefield 4 and Destiny....

Would definitely be up for some Rocket League! Any excuse to play that game.

Driveclub could be a cool one to do once they patch in private lobbies?

Edit: Or a slightly different idea - we could make some levels in N++ and we all compete for the best scores on each other's levels?

Anyway, thanks for everyone's ideas and keep it coming, I'll note them down and try and figure some things out. They'd most definitely be on weekends so it's easier for all, and maybe at some point we could have a vote on what we should play first

The only thing with FIFA or PES is everyone needs to have the same yearly version. I don't know about anyone else but I don't buy those yearly. I just got FIFA 14 for example.

@Tasuki: Yeah, preferably we'd keep the games to PS Plus, F2P or relatively cheap, but if there are games that are hugely popular we'll add those in too. In a couple of weeks I'll try and organize something, probably Rocket League, so keep your eyes peeled
