Nice! I've been practicing in 2v2 matches as and when. Fingers crossed my connection holds up this time!

That offer also extends to the wider Pushsquare RL community as we may all need some practice.

If you haven't already there's a RL community on the PS4 you can all join. We have 16 founder members and anyone can join in to host tournaments and stuff. The tournament on the 1st of November has a full compliment, but please join in for future tournaments (triples early December tournament and Xmas singles are coming up).

Group Stage; play each team twice in your group (play the games consecutively to save time), 2 points for a win. Top 2 in each group go through to champions trophy, bottom 2 in each group go through to Amateur trophy (so we can all make a night of it).

Order of play in the group stage;

1 v 2. 3 v 4 - game 2

Knockout stage; 1st in one group plays 2nd in the other group semi final In a single match (3rd / 4th in amateur cup) winners go through to final for a single match shootout.

Winners of above matches play the grand champions final

Standard rules, no modifiers, no Japan, wasteland or rocket labs grounds, if your teammates awol you play with a pro bot.

@KratosMD: You wont, I think everyone in this thread has been addicted to RL, but after an absence its not the same.

The loot boxes and crappy showroom systems have put a dampner on the previous experience. But our tournaments are evenly spaced so you can enjoy other games.

How late this running to?

10pm. 8 x 5 (7 x 5 if you don't reach a final) minute games = 40 minutes, so it should be 10:40. In reality setting up games etc will probably take us to 11:30pm. The most important thing is we all start at 10pm and we all 'duck' out of parties when the two games against each team are over. The big stumbling block I've found is people running late or a dodgy connection for someone on the night (honestly this really mucks everything up) I've counted this incase a teammate or opponent isn't on you have to play with a pro bot. After the 6 group games we just have to quickly count up (in advance im thanking @booshy for this) and then the cup games of which there can be a max of only 2 start. Everyone will play a minimum of 7 games. 8 games if you win your semi final.
