I have a very specific question that is kind of random. If we were to own 2 PS3's, but still only have 1 PS+ account, could we download a PS+ game like Borderlands onto both consoles, and then play together using two different PSN accounts? (1 account my PS+ account and 1 alternate)

I guess the question is can you access PS+ material on a console while logged in with an alternate PSN account.

It shouldn't be a problem.  I downloaded Majhong Tales free with plus onto both my PS3's and was able to play against myself online using an alternate psn account.

As long as both systems are activated with the PS+ account (and the + is currently active), you can play the downloaded games on any PSN accounts on those systems.

thanks for the answers guys. That will certainly come in handy in the future with plus games, and it's actually a big pro for going digital compared to buying retail.

Yeah, it's a huge plus for me. The only problem I ran into (and it's not really a problem) is that my account is on my ps3 as well as my brothers (used to use his as well) so now I cannot load my games on the ps3 in my living (it's technically the girlfriend's).

Wish they still allowed 5 but I can see why they don't (people like me)
