So how many of you out there are like me and got hooked on this game? I honestly have no idea what I am doing in this game but that doesn't stop me from enjoying it. I figure if anyone is interested we can post tips and talk about Don't Starve here.

I've loved what I've played of it, might play some more tomorrow. Here are some tips I've got. Make your base of operations in a pig village. They help your sanity, and more importantly, they kill enemies you would have trouble taking care of on your own (like those evil hounds).
Being in the dark (night or evening, having a torch or campfire doesn't take away the effect), near monsters, eating the wrong thing (like monster meat), or picking evil flowers brings your sanity down. Picking up flowers and eating good things raises it. The more insane you get, things can start to get wavy, and you'll see shadow monsters. If you run out of sanity, the shadow monster will attack you. Looking things up on Wikipedia is a great help with this game.
iv'e downloaded it but I haven't played it yet, I keep meaning to but then I just end up playing Knack or Resogun
"I pity you. You just don't get it at all...there's not a thing I don't cherish!"
"Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!
I have made it up to day 7 or 8 but that was before I knew how some aspects worked like sanity. I haven't been able to play it since @Jaz007 told me how it worked so hopefully next time I play I will last a bit longer.

I loved it on my first good play through (I died on day one my first time through lol). But I made around two weeks, they my free thirty days of PS+ ran out so I have to renew a years subscription to play it again. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I really look forward to unlocking everyone.
The thing about Don't Starve is that there is no tutorial, making it quite challenging... I like that! It is a great game with some very good aspects and realistic ingredients. Over all I think it is the best free game so far.
Yeah that's a good point not having any tutorial does make it a bit hard but honestly I am kinda glad it doesn't have one it reminds me of back in the days when games didn't have tutorials. Now it seems everyone expects them.
As far as best free game I think Resogun still has that title in my book, but Don't Starve is great too.
