So this game called Dragon's Dogma is out soon. I think some of you will really like it.
While it's all single-player you can share your main pawn -- an AI companion -- with other players. So for instance, you could recruit my pawn and use her skills and knowledge to help you out.
I'll be playing this game a lot so I hope my pawn will be of use to you. If you're also planning on getting this game, let's talk about it here and plan pawn swapping!
Pawn swapping is by far the best way to get Rift Crystals by the way. Forget questing and grinding -- someone else hiring your pawn can net you thousands of RC with which to buy a much stronger pawn.

I was going to get it when the price drops or when I finish Ghost Recon and the slew of new Vita games coming out.
Judging by the list of Vita release games in the next few months... it will be a while
To save our Mother Earth from any alien attack
From vicious giant insects who have once again come back
We'll unleash all our forces we won't cut them any slack
The EDF deploys!!
This game is amazing. I'm playing on 360 but what the heck this thread will do as no one on NL seems to be playing it . It's how I always wanted Monster Hunter to play but didn't. This game is seriously addictive The first few hours are kinda slow going but once you start to upgrade your skill sets and gear it becomes amazing. The combat system is one of the best I've ever used in any genre and the archery is especially great. I'm playing as a strider ,currently level 21, vocation rank 7. I've played for about 15hours and have barley opened up the map. Been grinding a bit the past couple of days as having met my first Chimera, Griffin and Ogre realized I was bit under powered to say the least Now I've got two kick pawns a few levels above me and my mage we can at least have a chance against these bad boys though you still have to be on your guard. Love the gear you can use against creatures ,like covering them in oil and setting alight to them, or using water and freezing them!! Brilliant. This is my game of the year so far, sure it's a little rough around the edges but this is easily out weighed by the gameplay and the insane detail. And I've only seen about three short cut scenes in my whole time with the game!! BONUS! LOVE,LOVE,LOVE THIS GAME!!!
Been playing it since it came out although I'm only level 20ish. I REALLY want to like this game but for some reason it's not clicking with me. I've even considered restarting since I think I've learned from some of my mistakes.
I love the game, love the battles, but wish there was a few more monsters. And the story could be a little more in depth. Im level 60 (no life here) and im on my second time through. I have to connect to the intenet soon so i can put my pawn up.

What class did everyone start with on their character and main pawn? I started with the Strider since the dual wielded daggers and the bow strongly appealed to my play style. Sadly, I couldn't find much in the way of defensive abilities until I acquired the skill that allows me to roll out of the way. I died way too much. My main pawn is a sword-and-board Fighter named Baakesh. The two additional pawns I've picked up are a 2nd warrior and a fire/heal mage. I seem to be moving along a little better in the game and the amount of time I'm dying is decreasing exponentially. Part of this I attribute to taking more advantage of the Strider's maneuverability and the roll/dodge skill I mentioned before.
I'm still strongly considering restarting as a warrior but I think I've discovered that I can change classes so I may switch long enough to pick up some warrior skills and then switch to one of the more advanced classes.
Of course, now that Lollipop Chainsaw has arrived, I may just take a break from Dragon's Dogma for a few days.
I love playing as a Magick Archer fun skills, not super strong but very good at supporting you team. Can use double jump as well, cant go wrong with this class.
I also really enjoy playing as a Ranger. I have the savage fang( strongest long bow i believe) and i love shooting ten arrows at once
I wish my pawn could be a mystic knight...

Very good title with interesting solutions related with your NPC's. But there is one disadvantage - you can't teleport from place to place. In the DD world is big and you need to run.. and run.. and run..
You can teleport back to Gran Soren if you have a Ferrystone. When you defeat the Griffin you get a Portcrystal which lets you set a warp point anywhere on the map
