Hello Im just getting started in this franchise, loving it so far, are there any "expanded universe" or generally novels to this game and if yes, which is the correct chronological order I should read them?
Thank in advance!

Top 5 Indies I'd recommend you try: #1 Lovecraft's Untold Stories, #2 Moonlighter, #3 Hotline Miami, #4 Inside, #5 Into the Breach.
A generic space military soldier emerges from his covered position, noting how generic and typical his surroundings are, albeit quite pretty. He sees his enemy, aims down the cross hair of his gun, taking a deep breath as his finger caresses the trigger. With a pull of his finger the gun shudders into life. He shoots someone. He shoots someone else. And someone else. Then someone else. Suddenly a new enemy appears so he shoots him too.
That'll be £4.99, ta.
"Oh smeg. What the smegging smegs he smegging done? He's smegging killed me."
Lol. I think you never played Killzone hm? And if you did, you skipped the cutscenes did ya? Im really trying hard not to judge you by your profile-pic!

Yes, I have. You can not judge something unless you have tried it. Bland, boring, uninspiring, generic, dull but always beautiful (graphics-wise) in an attempt to hide all its short comings. Exceptionally average series of games.
As for the pic it was recently Pacman as David Bowie so take what you want from that. Although if you judge me for having Red and Pikachu as an avatar then I suppose we can all assume you're like X-Man Cyclops and fire light from your eyes?

Ah my. First if I could fire from my eyes you would know firsthand! j/k Its called a sunray...
Well to the original enquiry, thanks for nothing, I did find out that there is indeed a novel called "ascendancy" that officially plays in killzone 3's time (besides a bunch of mediocre fanart) Im halfway through it and if you like the series you'll definitely like the novel.
Im fine if you don't like Killzone, I don't like Pokemon for example, but why not answer the question I asked or just don't reply at all instead you come here and give me your "personal review" of Killzone. And I give you that it is a shooter yes, mediocre? Not so much, for me, Im just sick and tired of battlefield, cod, halo. So Killzone works for me.
EDIT: Sorry if I got your little review wrong but for me it just had the impression of someone flooding over from Nintendolife just to troll.

I gave you a quality short story, thank you very much. I've been on here for about 18 months-two years. Just because I think one Sony series is shit doesn't make me a Nintendo fanboy. An avatar is an avatar, not a window into my brain.
I actually read Killzone: Ascendancy. It's basically a novel-ised version of Killzone 3. It's alright, but it doesn't do much to flesh out the universe unfortunately.

Yeah after further progress I come to this conclusion as well. I havent played KZ3 yet though. But Ill be there when Shadowfall drops! Wish there was a sophisticated writing behind KZ like behind Halo with Eric Nylund's Novels which I fully enjoyed!
And on an unrelated note, just playing Resistance 3 with a friend, holy cow that game is awesome. And then... FUSE? What the?
