Here is a youtube video of a Little Big Planet 2 Beta, with Guile, Zangief and Ken all facing off. I found out about this from reading a recent tweet, enjoy the cutesy representation of Guile's background graphics and theme tune.
I am passionate about retro gaming, from antiquated consoles to the continuation of classics. Obviously I love PSone, and PS2 retro games. I blast my ears to breakneck melodic punk, gruff vocals and nimble alternative guitar hooks.
@turtlelink I know, the lucky thing eh! It is good to see people get really creative early on with LBP 2. They also have a youtube vid based upon Konami and Hideo Kojima's PS2 launch title Zone of the Enders.
I can't even get my head around the user creation opportunties that will be coming to the sequel. It's mind-boggling!

I just saw a video from the BETA version and it showed a level based on the PSN game Flower! It looks awesome! Here's the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSF5q_5ee18
My little brother is also in the LBP2 Beta. He has the game of the year edition of LBP and there is a problem with LBP GotY profiles being able to load into LBP2 at the moment wich is killing him literally  But he has said it is awesome nonetheless.
For me the first LBP and PSP versions were outstanding. I love playing the user created levels, but after I put well over 200+ hrs into the original game and beat the PSP game, Im just worn out on the series. Ill eventually get LBP2 but it will be a good while.
As for the DLC, the Pirates DLC is better than the Metal Gear, BUT the Metal Gear pack is great as well.

Wow, a bunch of people have the BETA then! @Slapshot, Yea, I kinda would pick the Water over the Paint gun. But in the end, it's hard to choose which costume to pick. Jack Sparrow or Solid Snake?
Off-Topic: So Slapshot, your a reviewer on MM now?
@turtle... the Metal Gear pack is incredible and the toys you get are great, and to answer your second question, I did in fact write the MAG review, but it was asked because I had experience with the game prior to the patch and its a game that takes a ton of time put into it to write a accurate review and I was glad to accept the offer to help out I got a great title for it as well
The Pirates DLC is amazing as well, the water had been created by users but was a bit glitchy as it was a glitch that allowed it and finally Media Modicule dropped the DLC and it opened up a ton of new content to LBP, I recommend buying both the DLC packs when you are able.

If you can wait, LBP 2 will probably have a GOTY edition with lots of the DLC on it already, like the first one did. That's what I usually do, because I don't like paying for DLC, I just want it on the disc.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
@Tokengirl, but doesn't the original copy become rare if LBP2 becomes GOTY? It also doesn't have as much as a chance at GOTY because of its new release date. How will it compete with 3DS titles and possibly Skyward Sword? D:
It doesn't have to compete with 3DS titles. Sony just chooses some of their best/most popular games and makes "Game of the Year" editions to sell more copies. The games don't have to win any contest. Hopefully issues with level creation access will be fixed in the full version. That's what the beta's for after-all.
