Hopefully this will happen.  Since Nintendo has failed to come out with a WiiMotion Plus baseball game, this seems to be my last hope.

Oh me and my boys were talking about this Saturday afternoon. One of them has a degree in baseball management and the other has played for years and we all were talking about how great a baseball game would be. The ability of Move motion tracking depth would be able to real time you motions into the game instead of just height tracking wich would equal the best baseball game ever created if done right.

I want this to happen!

I know there's a baseball game on the way for Move in Japan but I'm not sure if it's any good. I hear good things about MLB though, and with the pitching and batting it could be superb. I also really want this to happen even though I do not like baseball.

@James.... Im a hockey fan obviously lol. I dont care too much for baseball myself, but a game where I can actually swing the controller and catch and thow the ball, that Im down for. Two controller outfielding would be great as well.

You can imagine people leaping about their living rooms, smashing into everything in an attempt to make those all-important catches...

Make it happen!

Fielding could be easily handled by using the pointer to pull the players in the same way you control the players in PES for Wii. I also doubt Move is precise enough to get pitching 1:1. However, a combination of movement, twist, and button presses could do the job and be satisfying enough to play.

I'm pretty happy that the game will have SOME move support, though yes it would have been nice to get 1:1 pitching. Maybe next year?

That looks pretty cool.  I still wish there was motion pitching, but that doesn't mean I'm not getting pretty excited about this game. The move controls look very tight and responsive.

Move support is only for Home Run Derby.

I played the demo last night and while I was impressed overall, I am not sure about the new analog batting controls.  I liked it for pitching ok, but I didn't feel like I had much control over the batting.  I will give it some more time.

Ya, it is nice that it has both.  Either way MLB 11 is pre-ordered as I skipped out on last years version.

I am looking forward to it.

I always just use my music on my hard drive.  That makes the soundtrack REALLY awesome

or how you play a game like Volleyball for Sports Champions.  You can also use two Moves or a navigation controller to move your player.  I would even be okay with some auto fielding if I could pitch and bat with the Move.  I hope this happens next year.
