On this DLC you sign up in a tornament to determine who's the biggest Badass on Pandora, the winner will have the right to open a new Vault found inside the Badass Crater of Badassitude. This tournament is hosted Mr. Torgue, the president of the weapon manufacturer Torgue, a guy that is addicted to explosions and rock for this matter every quest available on the main quest make reference to rock/metal songs from AC/DC to The Sweet.
The rules of this tournament are simple, kill all the other partcipants and keep climbing spots until you reach the top of the leaderboard. It may sound a bit simple but that's not the case, after all these participants are hidden in huge areas around the crater that are completly swarmed by their minions and to get access to them you might need to complete some missions. Two thirds of the enemies are reskins of enemies found in the stories and the other third will be new variations of the enemies found on the story that are enough to make you change your strategy of engaging in combat from time to time.
Just like the others DLC the enemies will be adjusted depending on the level you first entered and is packed with never seen before weapons. The greatest wepaons available on this DLC are obtainable by the new Mr. Torgue vending machine only availble in the area, to buy any of this gear you need to get Torgue Tokens that are only dropped by enemies on the DLC or awarded by some quests, some of the quests of this DLC have also have more than one tier for this matter and tier 3 being LVL 50 giving you a reason to come back to the crater if you aren't already at that level.
This DLC took me around 7 hours with a friend to complete the main story and most of the quest available without counting the raid bosses and those high difficulty tier missions. The dialogue from Mister Torgue and other new and returning characters will always keep you laughing and will make this DLC really enjoyable but you might encounter some glitches along the road. We enountered 3 major glitches while playinh one being an enemy being below the floor on the arena making it impossible to progress unless you start the quest all over again, some quest loot got stuck in middle air making it impossible to prgress and the huge expected loot explosion after the completing the main story never appearing, this might not be a game breaker than the others two but is a huge let down not getting our nice treat after finishing our well done work.
Overview
Even after all those bugs/glitches we've encountered in this DLC it did a good job from keeping to keep us at our toes with all the new enemies. You won't stop laughing from all the randomness of this DLC and at the same time offers a lot content that may also give you a reason to visit back the Badass Crater Of Badassitude and get those awesome weapons that you couldn't get at the moment. In the end, I'm sure any Borderlands fan will be able to truely really enjoy this DLC.
8/10
Few notes:
-I used the Psycho class and my friend used the Gunzerker while playing this DLC
-The timer when I made the Captain Scarlet DLC quick review only stopped 3 times when I beated it in 4 quick seatings meaning that it might've counted 5 extra hours or more.
-This DLC is inclueded in the Season Pass and in the new announced GOTY edition.
-I might made some typos feel free to correct me
-It took us 7 hours to complete the DLC without counting the Raid bosses and the high tier missions, it might take more time alone.
-The auto correct on my tablet might make make some wierd word changes
If you guys have any questions just ask
Next on the list; Psycho Pack and Assault on the Dragon Keep.
A good read This DLC sounds good. Im hoping these DLC packs are to be included with the Vita release. I wouldn't mind playing through them but its gonna be expensive if they're not lol You wouldn't have happened to have come across any news on this?
@Madchestermanc Nop no news regarding Borderlands 2 Vita DLC. My only concerns/guess is that they might charge for the DLC or don't even port it if it doesn't hit the sales target. I hope the Vita version lets you play with people with people using the PS3 versions so we might be able to play together It costed me 50$ getting the Season Pass + The Psycho Pack and The Mechromancer Pack, there's even more DLC coming out even after the release of the GOTY edition so it will always give you more content to keep playing. EDIT: @ShogunRok A lot couldn't stop laughing at all the random jokes and random things happening. If it weren't for those glitches this would even better, its wierd that this hasn't being patched yet but that may not be the case with all of you. I hope one of the other two at least offer a bit more of variety of enemies, I kinda hate reskins of enemies.

I haven't noticed any glitches on my three play throughs so far. This is the weakest of all the DLCs for me as the 'survive five waves' and 'win races' missions just got boring. Tiny Tina's is probably the best one although Captain Scarlet is brilliant (mainly as the woman voicing her is hot and the character looks a bit like Gaga).
@Madchestermanc I have a feeling the Vuta version will be without DLC. It's going to be a struggle enough getting the main game on a card and on Vita.
"Oh smeg. What the smegging smegs he smegging done? He's smegging killed me."
@rastamadeus -Even though you may not have encountered these glitches it I still need to mention them as a review er after all it affected my experience while I played through the dlc. -Captain Scarlet is good is really good but the fact that that 85% of the enemies were just reskins made it feel dull and was really easy to complete. -Some of these missions even though they were a bit simple they gave me enough motivation with the torgue tokens and are completly optional doing all these more than once. -You gotta also admit that this dlc is funnier than scarlet's. But well everyone has a different point of view I suppose and that's nothing wrong at all
True, I was just saying there may have been a problem with yours or your friends game is all. The Torgue DLC is funnier but the missions, for me, weren't as interesting. Looking forward to all the new DLC on the way

@rastamadeus Nah, I don't think so but it may be its related to the splitscreen. My PS3 only has 1 problem and is that it starts making wierd loud clicking sound but only when I try to use huge disc games like Uncharted 3 and The Last Of Us, it has been working fine with the rest of my games.

Sales target? The vita is saved with playstation vita tv. Already sold out on Amazon Japan ( tried to import the little bastard) but i could get one:S
Yea, i think i haven't laughed so much. Mr Torgue was probably my favorite NPC ever, just as much as claptrap. I thought the campaign was challenging, funny, and just fun to play.I hope and wish Gearbox would let us play as NPC's because they are colorful and would be fun to play as.
Plus i haven't seen so much effort put for players who buy this game. The team stays posting shift key codes, all kinds of prizes and always some type of giveaway.

Mr. Torgue as a character would be awesome xD but then there will be no one screaming nonsense on my echo whiile I'm killing? D:
I have 13 keys and I'm kinda afraid to use them after hearing they scale to your level. I'm going to try to use most of them when I reach 61 so I don't have any regrets.
Have a second controller join in your game(couch co-op) under the same user you use,and he/she will start out with 11 keys or so,use them, leave game, join again he/she will start out with more keys. The easiest glitch ever, takes the fun right out of looting but you get the best guns ever, i have 46 keys never used one.

I don't want to rely on glitches to beat this game even though the keys are kinda that xD I will just keep shooting my way out of problems xD
