Topic: Need help figuring out a problem with a PS3.

I have an old ps3 that I'm trying to get working. The issue I'm having is that it won't get a signal on my TV. I've tried Hdmi cables and even an AV cable and nothing. It powers on and everything else seems fine. I'm guessing it may be something wrong internally like a bad hdmi socket or something. Would that be really difficult to fix or would i be better off looking for a replacement on Amazon or whatever?

Is that where you hold power until it beeps twice? I did do that.

My nephew's PS3 had something similar happen to it but that was fixed with a hold down of the power button and using the safe mode to reset the video output.

I take it you don't see the safe mode menu appear either?
