Topic: Scott Pilgrim VS The World:The Game

So who downloaded this game and who likes/dislikes it? I love the game, it is an awesome [but hard] beat em up and I love the constant references to video game series like Mario and Zelda. The only complaint I have is that there is no online multiplayer, it would have been a nice bonus.

I thought the demo was fun...gonna wait for a sale though due to that exact complaint.  Online multi woulda clinched it--I found the gameplay more fun than Castle Crashers.

Looks interesting, but I'm not a huge fan of beat 'em ups. They're just not fun without friends.

It's a good game.  Really fun.  Online multiplayer would have made it better, like Swerd Murderous said, but its worth whatever it cost, I think it was 15, maybe 10?  I still haven't beat it, I think I'm 1 or 2 bosses away from finishing.  It really isn't hard.  It is hard at first, until you grind for a little at the start to make your abilities better.  Then it becomes fairly easy.

This game is like made of love and win. Haven't loved a beat-'em-up so much since Turtles in Time.

Best downloadable game I ever got that wasnt on VC.

I might buy this because I heard it was on sale. It had a cool demo, too.

I got confused, Turtlelink. I forgot you have a PS3. The sale is for the XBLA version, and for this week only.

This game is haaaaard!

I rented the movie a couple weeks ago and downloaded the game as soon as the movie was over.  It's a really fun game but it can get hard if you're playing alone like I am.  As stated above, this is one of those games that would really benefit from online support.  I honestly don't understand why they wouldn't implement online support for this type of game since it's perfectly suited for it.  I played a couple levels and decided to hold off until I buy another dualshock 3 so someone could join me.

@silent j Many people on my friends list have this and yes online would be nice, its a shame really.

Just beat the game. Thank goodness there are 5 other characters and the ability to reset your characters levels. It just adds to the replay value!

Will be buying for five bucks Tuesday!

I won't! And I certainly won't spend $50 on Playstation Plus just to get the $5 discount!

I will get PS+ soon enough, just not now.

Though it was only like two bucks, the DLC feels a bit like a rip off. :/
Knives is pretty much a recolored Kim which kinda sucks. But at least they added all that new stuff like drop in and out co-op and the Battle Royal mode.
