beyond two souls is a great game alot of people cant get their head around the out of order timeline but its because as jodie says her memories are all jumbled and shes trying to piece them together. I very much enjoyed piecing together the puzzle its pretty simple just look at the time line before each chapter to see where it fits in the timeline.
ps4 version offers both original and chronological order and while chronological order may sound better i think its actually worse as it shows the gaps in the timeline and still isnt actually fully in chronological order
@trev666 My main issue with Beyond: Two Souls is not the out of order timeline. That usually never bothers me whenever a game, movie, or TV show does that. For me, it was the padding. It could have easily been a bit shorter as I felt at least a couple of the flashback sequences were unnecessary. I still liked the game, but I would put it easily third amongst their PlayStation exclusives (Detroit: Become Human and then Heavy Rain in that order).
Nothing wrong with you loving it of course. I wish I could put it up there with the other two games.

i was hoping to play MK9 in anticipation of whatever NRS is doing but, the disc is scratched in areas so i got a refund from the seller, i still have the game though.
@nomither6 Trying to save money, so I figured I’d just crack on with some of the PS3 games I bought and never played. The PS3 version is still perfectly playable.
@Bentleyma ps3 version of arkham asylum is almost exactly the same as the ps4 version due to that the ps3 version was so good in the first place and that they did basically nothing when they ported them to ps4
I finished Batman: Arkham Asylum and have moved straight onto Arkham City. Got six hours of work in a bit, but then I have two days off to play it nonstop. I’ll also be playing Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed on the side. Probably one of the best kart racers ever made.
@Bentleyma Cool games you are playing. Batman: Arkham Asylum and 'Arkham City are very good games in my opinion, loved them. It feels bit unfortunate that it seems that many people have kind of forgot about them (and some other action titles)... It would cool to know more about your experience with the games later on hehe.
'I had to like force myself to stop playing Arkham City a little more then a year ago because otherwise I would have had a hard time to move on to other games.. Felt like I could play that game forever hehe.
@oliverp Na, people haven’t forgotten about them. That’s the reason that Gotham Knights was considered a disappointment by many people, because they were comparing it to the Arkham games.
@RogerRoger I don’t get all the hate for the newer games in the series. I’m not a hardcore Battlefield fan by any means, but every single time I play Battlefield 2042 the scale of the battles blows me away. I don’t even care how well I do or how many times I die, I’m just happy to be taking part.
@MidnightDragonDX glad you’re enjoying it bud. From memory, it just felt like a bit of a step back from Origins (to me at least). It been a while but I remember it being a fair bit more linear… and maybe that you couldn’t switch to control party members (could be wrong on that last part though).
@MidnightDragonDX Same here. I remember enjoying it when I finally played it on my Xbox a couple of years ago or so. Like you said, it's not as good as Origins, but it was still enjoyable. I also liked how they told the story via the cutscenes in between acts.

You can switch control to party members as needed. Playing as a mage and switch to one of my rogues to disarm traps and open chests a lot. I was annoyed there were fewer places you can switch out characters at first, but got over it.
I quickly got sick of one of my companions whining about mages and templars. Yes, I get that’s the main conflict. Since I’m a mage and he’s one, just kept him out of the group after I maxed my relationship with him.
Currently in the final act completing side quests since there’s only a few main ones.
