It would appear that ESOL doesn't really get much coverage compared, to say, The Witcher, or other BIG games. I for one absolutely love it! I've just got level 24 and some of the highlights for me are:
Organising a Daedric party by having to convince the souls of dead entertainers and bar staff to attend the party!!!
Listening to the inane rambling of a character with a saucepan on his head voiced by John Cleese
Just getting better and better at Dark Magic
Simply wondering about finding 'odd' people to help and seeing the different types of landscapes
Joining a group of other players that I happening to come across and helping them decimate some evil-doers
Getting lost and then coming across some weird village.
Making the mistake and accidentally committing an entire village to live at skeletons for eternity
Social games like Destiny/ESO/FF14 are great, unfortunately it seems those who are enjoying them are busy discussing them with team mates while actually playing the game, while those who live off single player experiences hang out on forums complaining about them
I think if you can get into it, TESO is pretty great. I've put a good 150+ hours into it and I'm still finding new things to do almost constantly. I wouldn't say it's a particularly exciting game, but I do think that with no subscription fee, it's arguably one of the best value deals on PS4.
I love it, just got my character to 45(Dagerfall Covenant), and I just enjoy the questing as I would in Skyrim or Oblivion. Pvp is good too when over players don't just run off in hordes and get killed of. I enjoy holding keeps with a couple of people against an army. And my best experience in pvp was when we got a group of 7 or 8 and went to an out of the way keep, took all the resources, rammed the gates in and took the keep, although it did take a while with small numbers. Was good fun though.
Been thinking of buying this game for a while...never really been into mmo/social games like this before.
None of my friends are into these sort of games, so was just wondering how easy it is to join up with strangers/find friends? I'd imagine playing in groups is far beneficial than going solo.
Any advice would be great guys

As a formal World of Warcraft player I cam give you a few tips that would work here to finding a group.
If they have them look for a guild to join. Not sure if ESO has them but check websites dedicated to ESO and keep an eye out for posts of guilds recruiting. The good ones will have a description, and reading one to see if it matches what you are looking is a great start.
If there is a main hub world, city etc. hang out there and see if anyone is asking for help and if you can help them. You an do the same in the wild, if you happen to see someone strike up a conversation.
Like wise if you are in a major city/hub world advertise yourself as well. If there is crafting in the game (not sure if there is) make some items of some sort and let people know you have a some and are willing to give it away, you would be surprised how well this works. Also advertise if your are going on a quest and see if anyone wants to come along or needs it as well.
That's all I can think of now.

@tasuki thanks very much for the advice. I'll bear it all in mind. Managed to pick the game up yesterday, had a few hours yesterday and really enjoyed it so far.
