@BAMozzy: I wouldn't mind taking you up on that if it's still going? I've not played a new COD game in a while, so I'm interested to see how things have progressed.

I have one (maybe 2 - but I am holding that for someone at the moment to see if they want it). If you send me your email address or contact me on PSN, I will send you a code to download the Beta.
Initial impressions are its very similar to BO2 and as such, I think its a good game. This is a Beta so not everything is available - only 3 maps for example but 7 (core only) game modes. I have noticed a few frame rate drops and occasional inconsistency but I don't know if that's because of the game or some thing Treyarch are doing as part of their 'testing'. However it is generally consistent and good fun (imo)

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??
Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...
@BAMozzy: Thanks, I think I have you on PSN, but if not I will add you tonight and drop you a message. The last COD that I invested any serious time in was BO1, although I have played bits and pieces of the other entries inbetween. The thing that has me most interested about BO3 is the "Combat Movement" system, with thrusters, slides, wall-running etc. It's a concept which if done well it sounds like it could change the dynamic of the game quite a bit!

The movement itself seems to be getting a lot of focus and attention, its very much more like Black Ops 2 in the way it plays. The additional movement options just enable a better traversal of the maps. Instead of ladders you have a boost jump and the wall running is a higher risk for potentially greater reward. Its done so that the gun on gun action and getting to that is easier and quicker but essentially its still feels very much like a Black Ops game.

Really REALLY liking the blops3 beta so far, jumping around and wall running is so unobtrusive(in AW the jumping always felt clunky and slow) guns feel great, choosing a specialist is great...most enjoyable cod since blops1 hands down
@BAMozzy: @teknium_: I'm definitely liking the sound of this more and more. Depending on how I find the beta, this might have to be my first COD purchase in 5 years!
