Topic: Overwatch - OT

@booshy89 Yeah it took me awhile to get my nine loot boxes as well. I keep getting teams that it's seems don't know how to play this game, seriously. They just want to run around and kill each other while ignoring the objective which is really aggravating especially when the other team plays the objective. Either that or the match is completely boring when neither team is doing the objective. I had this one match on Route 66 where I was D.VA and I literally push the payload from mid point all the way to the end with no resistance cause everyone was just running around killing everyone like it's CoD.

I am hoping that when Blizzard adds Deathmatches that will cause some of these fools to migrate there and leave the objective based matches to people who want to play the objective.

I am probably sound like a broken record here but Blizzard really needs to start screening players otherwise they are just going to have a bunch of idiots playing this game and the core players will go elseware.

A new map has been announced Junkertown which will be an escort type map. I can't wait for it as the Trash mouse is one of my favorite characters to play as well as Road Hog in certain situations.

Havent played this in two weeks.
Last season was a total drag and the last 2 events were super hard to get all the skins i wanted.
Since you dont get duplicates anymore its worse than ever.

After the free weekend Overwatch just had, I finally decided I want to buy it. My wife ended up really liking it too. The GOTY edition comes with 10 loot boxes. Does it work like any regular add-on or DLC on a shared console, meaning we both get our own 10 to open?

@ArkhamKnerd I think you both get them. I knew when they give away the free event loot boxes my son and I each get one.

Wonder when theyll announce Halloween event? I wanna get back into this game.

@Samus7Killer The event happened around mid October till the beginning of November so it will be a few weeks.

Been playing Warframe and neglecting OW eventhough this Halloween season probably has the best selection of skins compared to all the other past events. I think I genuinely like at least 5 out of the 8 skins.

Got my skins. Just need the Symettra skin and im good. The community seems smaller this event when im playing the same people over and over again.

@Samus7Killer I literally have the worst luck. I’ve opened like 15 loot boxes and haven’t gotten a single Halloween skin. I’ve even got two legendaries which is good for me but one was coins and the other was a regular legendary (at least it was one I like?)

I’d play more but I’m still annoyed at the most recent mercy changes so I’m not playing as much.

@ztpayne7 yeah you gotta grind to keep earning boxes. I play alot during the event (99% Comp) to get at least 2 boxes per day. Ive gotten Symettra's skin, reaper, Mcree and Anna so far. I was lucky to get Pharahs last year skin in my first box (thank the gods too cause shes my Main Main) I want the new Zarya skin and ill be satisfied. Ill never spend money on lootboxes. Its basically gambling.

@Samus7Killer It's no more gambling then buying a pack of baseball cards.

The first box I opened, I got Torbjorn's Viking skin. After that, I only opened two more boxes.

@booshy89 Nice, I got burnt out playing OW during the anniversary event trying to get all the skins. That's why I haven't played OW in a while. Maybe I'll come back during next year's Halloween event to buy this year's skins for 1000 each since I still have around 30k.

@Samus7Killer My wife and I have both been playing a lot and yeah we've noticed we've been matched up with people we've seen before. As for skins, I still really want the Mei one. I don't play as Zenyatta much but I was happy to get his new one b/c it looks so cool.

So managed to play some OW tonight and got 4 loot boxes 2 for the weekly arcade mode wins and 2 for leveling up. I got Zenyatta's and Zarya's Halloween skin for this year, Pharah's from last year and even though it's not a Halloween skin, Bastion's Woodbot skin.

Zenyatta's and Bastions was in the same box. So four legendary skins tonight, not bad.

@Tasuki that’s incredible. I’ve opened like 30 loot boxes for summer games so far and I only have one skin for Halloween (this year or last year). Whenever I get a legendary, it’s either coins or a non halloween skin.

@ztpayne7 I don't know it seems Halloween I have best luck, I always get the skins I want. Last year I really wanted Mercy's Witch got that one on the first box I opened iirc. This year I wanted Zenyatta's.

I especially like D.Va's and Reaper's skins. Would be nice if the D.Va's was an event skin so I can purchase it next year for 1,000 in-game currency.
