The loot boxes rewards are random and based on luck. I got the an identical Victory Pose for Junk Rat once and the game automatically gave me 15 in-game currency. Would've preferred if the game doesn't give the same item twice since they are just cosmetic items and not weapons/gears with random stats.
I love the Okami, Blackhardt and Mariachi skins and I saw one Level 4 dude with the Mariachi skin.
@Tasuki Yeah, I saw a gameplay vid by IGN last month and the person playing said he'll be spending a lot of money buying the skins if I'm not mistaken. But, I haven't found anything that says the game will have micro transactions, yet.
@WanderingBullet: I honestly can't remember if Blizzard said if there will be microtransactions or not myself but I have a feeling if they do it will be cosmetic kind of like WoW. As for that streamer, he might be saying that, that if they do add it he will be spending alot of money. Either way it doesn't bother me.

@Tasuki: The microtransactions for cosmetic items don't bother me either but the way he said it made it sound like microtranscations is a confirmed. Anyways, I think they should make it so players don't get the same items twice.
@WanderingBullet: Well if that is a big problem, you can always speak up in the Overwatch forums, I know Blizzard devs to check out the forums alot for player feedback.

@Tasuki: Probably will if I get the game. Right now I don't have an account on their site, yet.
Got two "Gold Skins" as well - Arctic (Zarya) and Sharkbait (Roadhog) but I don't use those characters.
Also another duplicate spray for Junkrat.:/
Anyone here use Tracer? I tried playing as her but her L1 skill was abit too disorientating for me. She can be pretty difficult to hit if you're good with that skill.
@WanderingBullet: I have not used Tracer yet cause honestly her ability and playstyle kind of puts me off to her. I will eventually try her out, but yeah from what I have read she is one of the hardest characters to play well. She's has a steep learning curve.

@WanderingBullet: Team Fortress is/was bland and boring. But some people enjoyed it.
I suppose it was one of the first team based multiplayer games, so you have a Tank type, medic, someone who puts turrets down etc. But its so crap I dont understand why anyone would play it for days at a time.
I preferred Unreal Tournament and Halo personally.

@Tasuki Right after saying that, I played against one player using Tracer yesterday and had a hard time hitting her/him.> < That person ended up getting 33 eliminations.
@themcnoisy: Haven't played Team Fortress before. Eventhough, I dislike both FPS and PVP games, I'm quite enjoying this. Right now I'm just considering whether if its gonna be a day-one buy or not.
Found an unboxing vid for the PC Collector's Edition. Thought the statue was gonna have a metal-like finish based on the pic I saw on Amazon but it still looks pretty good nevertheless.
I started this game not expecting to like it but soon got me hooked. Accidently played as a healer and was the hero of my team because no one died. Its good that the healer role is in the game as this is my normal chosen role within games. Need to play it more but would consider buying it based on first impressions.
@dryrain: I think alot of people are really enjoying the healer. My son who is a big CoD player surprisingly likes the healer classes the best.
It's nice having a the healers so even if your are not good at FPS games in general, there is still a way for a person to help the team and not feeling useless because they have a low KDR.

@Tasuki@dryrain: I really like the fact they've de-emphasised kills. There's no Team Deathmatch, only objective based modes, and anyone who plays a part in taking out another player gets some credit for the elimination.
I'm really impressed by some of the choices Blizzard has made in terms of game design. Though, Bastion can take a long walk off a short pier.
First impressions are that it's wonderfully presented, each hero is unique too. Though it's going to take a bit of getting used too, coming from a CoD and Destiny background I'm used to having a radar or map to tell me when enemies were near so that caught me out. The only thing I can find fault with it is duplicate heroes, I had matches where three people on my team were playing as Hanzo or Wideowmaker which for me upsets the variety a bit. I'd prefer if Blizzard did what Smite does where it locks a character out if a player picks them, of course you can change heroes mid match but I prefer been on a team five different characters.
@AlexStinton: Lol yeah that was one thing that drew me to this game. I love Black Ops 3 but I will admit I am not good at killing things lol and usually have a negative KDR. With Overwatch as I stated that doesn't matter, I feel like I can still help out my team even without killing.

It helps to level up quicker if you performed well by earning medals as well. The more medals you get the more XP you earn. I usually play as DEFENSE, followed by HEALER or TANK.
@adf86 Totally agree with the duplicate characters aspect . Maybe Blizzard should limit it to two same characters maxed per-match.
If a team has all the same type of charcters they are not balanced so will struggle. Its like any pvp you need your tanks, healers etc etc. People not communicating what charters you are taking is an issue. the balance is not always right in the squads. But you can change the characters which I am not sure is a good or bad thing. No one seesm to chat in game which I find a bit strange because it makes battles easier if your chatting with team mates.
If you guys play as healer do you power up the most powerful character for maxium damage or do you rotate depending on who is in the front line?
