A year off changes things.

Enjoy the campaign a lot, haven't really tried multiplayer yet, but this weekend I plan to get into that as I'll have a few days off.

I started the campaign last night, and thought it set the scene brilliantly. I also really like the Dead Space touches: the ammo indicators on the weapons, etc. I'm eager to play more - though the funeral bit that I'm about to play looks like it's going to be terrible...

The campaign is yes somewhat fun but for me, its just more of the same, I suppose I should have known what I was buying. The multiplayer is OK too but I much preferred ghosts, despite the crumby maps. I'll be ploughing through over the next week and then I'll be forgiving bungie and grovelling back to the crucible.

Did you notice that nearly everyone at the funeral and then the HQ had pretty much identical faces, pretty funny, I recall running through a presentation room on a warship in BF4 and there were 6 clones standing around. Creepy.

Campaign is actually really enjoyable with a mindless but decent for a FPS story, so fat the levels I've played are fun and I will go back and replay them. Multiplayer is better thanks to great maps and the exo adds a new strategy to the game, the only thing I'm not keen on is exo mode.

im about to give up on multiplayer thou, te ammount of lag and lag-compensation its really getting into my nerves. Im never been a great cod player (im more of a heavy team-centric games), i actually suck but im never mad about that (maybe its because im older and im strating to see that there are way better things to get mad about instead of a game lol) but its just nigh unplayable (for what ive read its the same on all 5 platforms !)

im giving the game a month to see if they can fix this lag, if not... bye bye cod

actually i dont know if even a month, Dragon Age coming and im getting that, will wait to see how Far Cry 4 fares and i have to get Smash on the WiiU too

Game was ok starting  out but now  its gone to lag and players aren't  really doing anything but camping! Which in turn makes the game  even worse!

So Sledgehammer says the game is already working on servers, and theres this much lag and lag compensation ?

Thats it, im selling it, hopeful ill only lose $5-$10 will try to complete the campaign as much as i can

I only experience lag on the exo survival missions. the actual online multiplayer i haven't.

Ok, last patch made things a lot better !! so i guess ill give it some extra time, its been fun now that i dont have that much lag (its still bad from time to time, but not like before)

Some of the problems with these AAA games would be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic. I was watching some live from PlayStation feed on the Vita earlier. One was somebody playing AW multiplayer and while, yes, the lag does seem to have cleared up a bit and isn't near as bad as before, it does still exist to an extent. And then I was watching a stream of AC Unity and it was just LOL worthy. Stopping mid-swing during a battle, then there was some flash of light as if it and the game froze, ridiculous. I haven't really played AW multiplayer outside a couple games with friends on either day 2 or 3 of release and to be honest we didn't suffer any of the lag but it obviously was a problem for others.
