Topic: Ds4

One of my dualshock4 has got a problem with the left stick, i have to push it forwards a couple if times to get an onscreen response and any char im trying to move forwards kind of does it in fits and starts, and if i use the ps4 web browser the point drifts up while the stick is centered..its not a massive issue as i can use it for driving games and games that use the dpad...just wondering if anyone else has had same problem and knows of any fixes

I had this problem, too. Is it a launch DualShock 4? If it's not, you may still be in warranty and be able to get a refund, otherwise you're probably going to have to suck it up and buy a new one.

Im not sure... We have 2 ps4 and 3 contollers(1 from launch, 1 from December just after launch and one from a few months after)... I think the one that is dodgy is the one from December... Its very useable, just a bit annoying

Yep I had that problem with one of mine and I just bought a new one. Sad thing is the new one I just bought a few weeks ago is not working now. The up button on the dpad doesn't work and I don't have the receipt anymore so I can't return it. I am really starting to hate the PS4 controllers biggest piece of junk controllers I have ever had. I really really wish someone would make a third party one already.

Im sure i read that a Japanese 3rd party company were making ds4(or soon will be)...bday next week, thinking of treating myself to a scuf controller

@Tasuki: Bummer! I assume Sony requests the receipt in order for replacements?

@get2sammyb: Probably. And with shipping it would probably cost as much if not more then just buying a new one. I really hate the durability of the DS4 obviously Sony didn't care about that and why would they when they can charge you 60 bucks per controller. I still have day one PS2 controllers that still work fine.

So anyone know is there a way that I can use a controller other then a Dualshock 4 on the PS4? I don't care if I have to use an adapter or what but honestly I am done with the DS4. The quality of them is bad and I don't have 60 bucks to shell out due to Sony's greed. I like the system but the controllers are a joke.

So anyone have suggestions?
