Topic: Early GOTY contenders

Doom, The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine, and Uncharted 4............and I'm probably going to be the only one picking it, but Firewatch.

Uncharted 4. You know it, I know it, we all know it, and I don't have to play it to know it.

Uncharted 4. Head and shoulders above the rest. The perfect end to PlayStations' greatest franchise.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Right now I'd lean towards Deus Ex as my favorite but all 4 are great games. We'll see if Gravity Rush 2, my dark horse pick, actually releases this year and deserves a spot on this list.

Until now I played only three games released in 2016 and one of them is a remaster...

There are a couple of games that could creep into that list for me (subjectively) as DQ:Builders and Mafia 3. Obviously Forza 3 would be very high up my list but it's not on Playstation...

I'm adding XCOM 2 to my list.

Right now I have a pretty short list:

Headlander
Hitman

Then again, I have a really long list of games to play: Deus Ex, Dark Souls 3, ABZU, Uncharted 4, Ratchet and Clank, Overcooked, Grow Up, DOOM, and Clustertruck.

Not to mention that FFXV, WWE 2K17, Mafia 3, COD IW, Dishonored 2, and The Last Guardian are all coming out soon. I've got a big backlog to clear

@Anchorsam_9: Yeah, there are a few games from earlier in the year I really want to try before GOTY talk truly starts.

I've started catching up - I played Ratchet & Clank recently and finished Inside a few days ago. I'd still like to play Deus Ex, Doom, and a few indies that I missed.

My favorites so far are Uncharted 4, R&C, and Doom.

I'm still pretty early into it but Mafia 3 is living up to the hype so far for me. It's gonna have to go some to take the GOTY from Uncharted 4 but we'll see..

I managed to play Overcooked with a couple friends yesterday and now I'm definitely adding that to my GOTY list. I may have aged 40 years due to the stress, but boy was it fun
