Topic: Folders: Which will you create?

So, curious..... with folders being such an asked-for feature, which folders do you plan on creating when it comes? How will you organize your stuff? Seems like there are too many ways to go, and I assume one game can't be in two folders.... . The only obvious ones I can think of is one for soulsborne and one for my "wall of shame".

I imagine I will probably do something like I did on the Wii U One folder for indie games, one for AAA, one for my PS2, and the rest I will see.

PSP 2
Indies 1
Indies 2
Final Fantasy
FF Spinoffs

And for 3DS it was
NES
SNES
BS Satellaview
Gameboy (Color)
GBA
TG16
1st Party Retail
3rd Party Retail
Digital
3D Classics
Fire Emblem

For Wii U
NES

So I'm keep it in that same vein. Probably go

And if we ever get PSone or PSP, those will get added too.

Hope there's also a way of keeping the capture gallery on the home screen via folders. Hate going through 3-4 screens whenever I want to view screenshots

Doubt I'll be bothered to organise it to be honest. I quite like the last 10 games/apps layout look, the only thing I dislike is that the library shows absolutely everything.

That demo you didn't like that that doesn't even work anymore? Yeah, that's there.
The PS+ games you thought you'd add to your library just in case even though it's a genre you can't stand and something you'll never have an interest in? That'll be on there.
That time you downloaded PT but never got round to playing it and then your hard drive got wiped so now you can't.. yeah that's there too!

I only game on my console so don't really have need of Folders. I wouldn't mind having the option to permanently remove 'Demo's' (for example) from my library. I also primarily play with Physical media games and as this is very easy to access without the need of a Folder, I won't bother. If Sony allowed External HDD Support and I kept the majority of PS+ games, I may have created a folder for those but as they have been deleted to make room for games I actually play, I have no need of folders - especially with relatively small storage.

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

I'll probably have a favourites folder and a "to do" one as well, with backlogged software that I do want to finish...

I only ended up making two. Junk and Disc-games. I tried splitting up games into more categories, but didn't care for that type of setup.

I just made 3 folders. One for 'Games', one for 'Demos' and a 'PlayStation Apps' folder but I'm not sure I'll keep it this way.

It is quite nice having all the games for example in one easy to access folder and I've arranged them in alphabetical order as well (had to do it manually which is a bit annoying).

"Apps", where I put all those useful things that came with my PS4 but I never use. That's all I needed.
Is there a way to hide the "TV" and "Library" icons? It's impossible to put them in a folder...

Praise the Sun, and Mario too.

@andreoni79: No there' still no way to hide them unfortunately although with the new customisation options, the TV and Video tab almost becomes a folder in itself and Library is just an extension that stays on the end. A few more tweaks would've been nice just to personalise it a bit more, but they've made it quite neat overall really.

5) Demos
6) Unusable DLC
7) Horrendous excuses for games, a slight on game designers the world over, so bad they make Nicholas cage look good, games to really punish the kids if folder 4 doesn't work. Includes Tower of guns.

Hey guys - I haven't been able to get on my ps4 in the last few days to create a folder - but I had a question. If I make a folder of disc-based games, will the disc that is currently inserted still be on the first screen or do you have to go into folders and then try to find whatever game is currently loaded? So for instance, let's say I don't remember what game is in the disc tray. Will I have to hunt through my folder to find it?
