While playing Resident Evil 7, I was reminded a little bit of Condemned: Criminal Origins. I know there was a part 2, but it was kind of meh. I'd like to see a third that returns more to what the original was.
Sleeping Dogs, definitely. Absolute shame United Front shut down.

@Splat I agree with ya on Kingdoms of Amalur it's sad really cause as you said it had potential and Curt Schilling had good ideas. It's just sad that he was a poor businessman.
As for Sleeping Dogs, I though a second one was coming? Did I miss something?

Absolutely awesome game, we all want another pork bun! I would also like a sequel to Rogue Legacy with some different map layouts and enemy types.

Hmm there are a good few. I'll exclude the obvious Half Life 3 since I'm sure this would top most internet polls...
A new Portal game - you could argue that there is no where to go with the concept after 2, and maybe that is right but I loved the concept, execution and gameplay.
A Wolf Among Us - in my mind, the best Telltale has to offer. Already an existing universe to borrow from, lots of great stories.
Gun - not going to happen since Red Dead took its crown but I would have loved a sequel to the PS2 era western.
Metal Gear Solid V: Zombieland - what this game really needed was a zombie survival onslaught set in a parallel dimension and.... oh wait, that is happening. Ignore this one.

Glad to see Sleeping Dogs getting so much love. There's a song by stateless on the soundtrack that came on at one point and was absolutely transcendent for me. Like going into Mexico in red dead, but unscripted.
@oceanworlds
I literally reinstalled syndicate last night (I have 2 copies and 2 ps3s - if nobody makes local multiplayer any more, I'll just work around the problem) let me know if you're looking to do some co op!
A sequel to Alien: Isolation would be great; it could be focused on the colony before Ripley's arrival (with stealth missions related to Newt or her parents) and then on the Marines squad, with some good action.
Vanquish 2... Just give Sam his ARS suit, a bunch of new crazy enemies and a real city to rescue (it would be great to use his knee-sliding move in a 22th century Rome or Paris).
Shadows of the Damned 2... Garcia Hotspur was a cool guy but EA asked Suda and Mikami to westernize many of their ideas about story and gameplay.
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, not a third person shooter with Vincent this time but a Hack and Slash with Cloud but DoC set up a story we never got a finish too
Skies of Arcadia Legends, it was a great RPG for the Gamecube with a world that has so much potential, a PS4 port would be nice too
DmC Devil May Cry, yes i went there i enjoyed DmC Devil May Cry, while the characters could have been better by the end New Dante had grown into a better one, i would like to see where they would take him and this world (on a side note would LOVE a Devil May Cry 5 too)
Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit, yeah i know there has been other DBZ games since it was released but none of them were actually sequels to Burst Limit, i thought it had a great battle system, the story had that Budokai flair and it looked great, in fact it still looks great and would still hold up on PS4 i reckon
Final Fantasy IX, FFIX is my fave FF game, great world, great characters and they could do so much in the world it has

"Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!
@FullbringIchigo I'd go for a Skies of Arcadia sequel for sure. FFIX-2 would be awesome, even if extremely unlikely and entirely unnecessary. Lindblum, Alexandra, Treno..Some of the best locations in a FF game, I'd love to see them expanded upon!
Infamous second son - still one of the most fun PS4 games in my opinion (not the highest quality, but just plain fun)
The order - while the gameplay wasn't that great, I loved the world they set up and wish they could get a second chance
Not shadow of mordor specifically because overall the game didn't feel that fun to me - but the nemesis system needs to come back in another game, lord of the rings or not
And for the record, I also thought sleeping dogs was better than gtav
There are a number of games I would love to see get sequels/reboots/return.
Dead Space (not a sequel to 3), BioShock (Rapture based or similar in Atmosphere), Alan Wake, Resistance, Perfect Dark, Max Payne, Burnout Paradise, Motorstorm etc just from last gen let alone going back further in time...
It maybe too early to consider this gen games at the moment as needing a 'sequel'.
I am surprised that some games haven't been remastered for this gen - Crysis 3 for example as that was technically a game that's still being used as a test-bed for new hardware and maybe would benefit from current console specs. I know it didn't sell enough to maybe justify it and competing with other FPS games won't help but I think it could still look great on modern console hardware...

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??
Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...
@BAMozzy
Ooh another burnout on current gen hardware, that sounds good. I must add that at times, I actually preferred the style of BO3 than the open world of paradise..I don't however think we will be in luck, as I'm sure I heard Criterion is busy with the next star wars game..
