Topic: Great PS4-PS Vita Remote play titles

Hey all - I've been playing with the PS4-PS vita cross play on some PS4 titles since it is that or buy an expensive new TV elsewhere in the house. I know PS4 titles support cross play but I've noticed that with some titles, the control differences (like having to use touch screen etc.) can make play pretty tough.

Does anyone have any recommendations on games that work pretty seamlessly on PS Vita? One friend recommended Fallout 4.

I usually never use remote play but I know plants vs zombies garden warfare works very good with remote play.

J-Stars Victory Vs + works great on remote play

probably because it's a fighting game and you can get by without having to use the L2 & R2 buttons at all

"I pity you. You just don't get it at all...there's not a thing I don't cherish!"

"Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!

@Rudy_Manchego: Are you talking about cross play or remote play? Cause the title asks for remote play games and you asked for cross play which is two different things.

If we're talking remote play I can't think of one I'd recommend because the lack of two should've buttons hurts the experience on Vita. If you're looking for good crossplay titles. Retro City Rampage, Guacamelee, Velocity 2X just to name a few. All are excellent on whether played on PS4, 3 or Vita.

@Tasuki: Sorry - absolutely right, I have confused things completely. Apologies all. I am talking remote play. I've never actually used Cross play on any titles yet.

@Rudy_Manchego: No worries lol. As for remote play I have heard that some games are odd to play on the Vita cause of the lack of buttons. I can't really say cause I use a PSTV for remote play which I use my DS4 for so all the buttons are there.

@iDangerMouse_ Several of my friends are trying to get me involved with Rocket League so that might not be a bad idea and seems like quite an ideal title for remote play.

@Tasuki That's my main issue with Vita remote play is that most games make the most use out of the missing buttons. Trying to aim and shoot using a touch screen is a pain in the privates. Maybe a PSTV is the way to go.

You should give Uncharted and The Last of Us a try

@SasukeTheRipper: I tried Uncharted, died a lot, swore a lot then had a hissy fit because my partner was on the tv and I wanted to play it on the PS4.

@Rudy_Manchego: It all depends with the PSTV. If you want something in another room to play your PS4 games I highly suggest that over a Vita (or just prefer playing games on a tv over a handheld like me). You have to make sure though you have a wired connection though. If your looking to be able to take games on the go i.e. for a lengthy commute to work on a bus then the Vita would suit you better obviously.

I just tried to play Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 on the PS Vita and it was pretty easy to play it on the system so I would definitely it when it get released next week.
