I am thinking of putting down a preorder for the PS4 but before I do that I was wondering if they mentioned what apps they will have for the PS4. I know the Xbox One will have Netflix and stuff like that but I am wondering if PS4 will be the same. Main ones I am looking for are a Netflix app and a Youtube app mainly. Yeah I know this may seem like a dumb question but the last Playstation I owned was a PS2. Thanks for any and all info.

Both will be on PS4, I'd bet the house on it. Netflix is one of the most used PS3 apps and I know there's one for youtube as well (I use it on Vita frequently).
Yeah, he mentioned in the press conference about how netflix is watched on ps3 more than any other device or something like that. So I doubt it's going away.
Also, I think he mentioned adding flixster and something else to the "PSN family" - available when PS4 launches. So I think it's keeping all the apps the PS3 had and then adding some.
and on a plus note you don't have to be a PS+ member to use them where as on XB1 if youy not a gold member you can't do jack
