just deleted this game after waiting 20 odd hours on the update to download/install. Thought the game was installed went in to play and it said i needed another download so did that. That was yesterday, today the game is still trying to download. Nuts. Ain't anyone got time for that! Was only curious about the game as it was free, not my normal type of game tho so I'll pass. Now I know why Sony put it on ps plus, it's broke lol

@themcnoisy: Fair point mate, i must have just got lucky . I've read alot of people have this issue (since you pointed it out)

@TomKongPhooey: Actually, they probably put it on plus cause of the NBA Finals going on now.

I'm taking comfort in other people having the same download issue. Thought my internet was packing up but then saw other updates etc downloading fine, so it must be specific to this game.

for people who have downloaded it, is there much of a tutorial? I'm not the biggest NBA fan (although I love sports games) and could do with some pointers.

@Tasuki: I noticed that the in game currency was being promoted on PSN too on the "deals page", perhaps, considering the relatively small sales and popularity of the series in the UK, they are treating it like a freemium game? Increase the user base and hope people take a punt on the tokens?

Good game, the players feel a bit stiff and defending is really difficult - yet its a great version of the sport.

Does anybody else have to make another pro player everytime they start the game? Maybe its a weird bug at my end. The spike lee story mode is rubbish, but I'm enjoying it all the same.

@Mergatro1d: I had to go back to the ps4 about thirty times. It keeps saying DOWNLOAD STOPPED. I was off work yesterday so sat there patiently for 3 hours pressing x when that happened to make the download carry on.

I played it for a bit. Realised I don't understand basketball. Hated it. Deleted it. Then my friend told me it was great once you got into it so I downloaded it again and did exactly the same thing.

@johncalmc: LOL yea same here - my best friend persuaded me to give it a try since its psplus, maybe because he wanted to kick my b... because hes a "pro" in sports games ... turned out Im a little bit more experienced on the gamepad although I dont have a real clue about basketball, the rules, the players etc.. HAHA ^^
Game is absolutely great, didnt expect to have that much fun with a basketball game - graphics are awesome, so is the soundtrack. Will definitely buy the next one day one - its just that much fun in multiplayer!

Fun game, but... way to many options for a casual nba gamer. For example, 10 different defensive tendencies. Still fun though.

I don't know as a casual NBA gamer I have no problem with this game. Not sure if you know this, but you can use the face button (X, Circle, Square, Triangle) for commands such as shoot, pass, block, steal etc. I find that alot easier.

@Tasuki: oh lol,maybe it would be easier if I looked at the controller map in more detail. Thanks. Now just to work on my defense.
