Downloaded the game not played it yet but it will have to fight for my time with ESO which is currently my number one for this genre. Also Seven days to die is taking up a lot of time. Good its f2p should build up a good fan base and its getting an expansion later this year as well.
Just finished downloading it. Any classes that are bad for solo? I don't plan or have time to group much. I was thinking for sure to skip the cleric, since that seems more group orientated to me. I was thinking of skipping the rogue as well, but I am leaning that way for just the "want to play class" regardless of if it is good to solo with. My other top picks are Paladin for melee and the control wizard for magic. Not sure between the two to start, but that rogue seems to be my top pick if viable .
For the record, I have played MMOS in the past. Most recently ESO, which is an amazing blend of great solo and group play for an MMO. I was a long time Everquest player, but now don't have time to raid and little time to group. Any recommendations?
Played a bit more tonight went with a Dwarven Great Sword Fighter. Did my first big quest and got to level 6.
One thing I will say, it's easier for me to put this down then WoW, I think it's because I am not paying a monthly fee and don't feel obligated to play X amount of time to get my money's worth if that makes any sense.
I also like the combat in Neverwinter more then WoW feels alot more like Zelda OoT.

I like this game man it's really good, i'll be subbing to this bad boy soon I reckon. That's the only money i'll spend though, it won't be the first F2p i've subbed to it's more PVE than PVP I think which is exactly how I like my MMORPG's.
played this on PC when it first came out. played as a rogue and loved it for several months. You deffo need to play with others when you get up the levels to get the fun/enjoymentment out of it. I gave it up to go back to WoW and uninstalled it.
Didn't actually seem to miss it at all until I heard it was due out on PS4, installed it this morning and went for a warlock. Looking forward to getting some time off work next week and picking it up on the console again. Will be interesting to see how it plays with a controller tho, could be tricky. Feel free to add me if you fancy playing guys. Just mention PushSquare. PSN= TKP_1st
@Tasuki Didn't know that, that's interesting lol, ok I suppose you can use them but it just seems wrong on a console to use keyboard/mouse. Maybe it's just me but when playing on pc I sorta refuse to use controllers also. My heads wired wrong I know but I wouldn't feel right gaining an advantage (and it is an advantage) on a normal controller user. It will be curious tho to see how well it plays. Roll on next week til I get stuck in for more than 20mins on character creation this morning. lol
Currently lvl 6 control wizard, after reading about endgame rogues being a tough sell. So far the game is great, read some CW builds, but don't quite understand all the slotting of spells or how too for that matter, as in put spell X in slot tab for this effect. Although I don't even have enough spells to move around yet to certain slots. I am more just picking what sounds fun and might not be the most powerful.
I played a good amount today and starting to like it more. It's not perfect but probably going to replace Warframe as my favorite F2P game on PS4. I'm up to level 20 and have been playing solo the whole time with no problems which is a plus for me.
@Tasuki: haven't found a specific website for builds, but most I have found link off of reddit. Quite a few come from Neverwinter Arc Games site. Have you started crafting yet, if so how is it?
Just dl'd this on Friday - up to level 12. Gotta say, this is my first foray into the whole MMO thing and I get it now. It's addictive, and a total time suck. That being said, its a lot of fun, but the fun factor is significantly increased by co-op. I was fortunate enough to find some people to play with, but, it is a bit difficult to get others to care about where you are going, or what you are doing. SO - everyone on here - ADD ME! I want to join up with as many other players as possible! Maybe even get a guild going - something casual.
@Elodin: No I didn't get a chance last night to play Neverwinter. I was watching the WWE PPV and my internet went out for several hours and by the time it came back on I was finishing up a movie and then went to bed.

I have a quick question, so since Neverwinter doesn't use a PSN account (you can play the game without PS+) does anyone know how to go about adding people. I am assuming we do it through the game itself with character names but I have yet to try it.
