Sony Santa Monica have revealed at a PlayStation Experience panal that GOW 2 director Cory Barlog is working on a new God of War title for PS4, it was announced on SSM's Twitter feed.
Which direction do you guys want this to go on? Do you want a direct sequel with Kratos, or new characters and a new mythology? I feel like they're going to go with the former personally, but I wish that they'd Assassin's Creed this series a bit. All they need to do is create a new character with the same tribal tattoos, and they could pretty much go anywhere.

Personally, I'd like to see Norse mythology.

Anyway, Cory Barlog confirmed there will be optional boss fights! I assume that includes optional areas as well. It's a good reward for exploration, and this also means that the world will seem less linear than it is. The illusion of choice
