Topic: Orange pulsing light in standbye mode

Since the last update to the firmware I now have issues with putting my PS4 into standbye mode. It does not happen all the time but sometimes I will put it into standbye and the ornage light will pulse and the PS4 does not respond and wil not switch on leaving me to switch it off at the power. Has anyone else had this issue and is there any fix for this? I assume it is a software rather that hardware issue or am I wrong in making this assumption?

I have had this issue a few times but just thought that it was a very rare technical issue.

Try holding down the power button for 5-60 sec.try 5 first then 30 then 60 and see what happens.
