Apparently the app for iPhones & Android is now available to download.
Who has the special edition on pre-order? This is going to look frickin awesome on your arm!
There has been one report. The reviews will be up in minutes so I would wait and see what everyone else (who have been playing it for about a week) says.
My Pip Boy editions should be arriving tomorrow as long as UPS doesn't screw me again. I wasn't sure what console I was going to end up playing it on so I ordered it for both Xbox One and PS4. I was thinking of going with Xbox because Bethesda games have a history of playing better on Xbox, and you get Fallout 3 for free when you first insert the disc. Mods are also coming to Xbox first. Oh and I don't have many Xbox One games so I have plenty of room to install Fallout 4 where as my PS4 is completely full so I'd have to delete a lot of stuff. All that being said, PS4 is the console I play most often and apparently Fallout 4 seems to run better on PS4.
@Nifty I just found out today that my Note 4 won't fit in the Pip Boy so it's not gonna look too awesome for me.
@Splat I played Fallout 3 as a male so I might play this one as a female to change things up.
Just thought I'd drop a tip here on how to get an extra S.P.E.C.I.A.L. point near the beginning of the game.
After you leave the vault and return to your home. Go to the babies room. Pick up the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. kids book on the floor. When you use the book from inventory, it'll let you put 1 point in S.P.E.C.I.A.L.
I'm sure many already know this, just thought some people might not.
I got the Pip Boy edition a day late due to Game's pre-order system. But so far I'm having a bloody lovely time on it. I found the first portion of the game really emotionally affecting and the scope of the game is wonderful. There's so much to dig into it's hard to know where to start. I also love the reworking of the theme on the piano this time as well.
I've only been able to spend about 45 minutes with it (way too little!) It may be another week before I get a huge chunk of the game in. But I'm really enjoying it, even if the opening did feel a little too rushed...
I'm about 10 hours in due to work and I've only got down the road. There's so much to do... The crafting is great but I'm terrible at making bases, keep deleting cause I want my base to be perfect! (Not happening...) The few quests that I've done are great and also have different outcomes which is expected in a Fallout game.
Love it! The game is more of what I love about Fallout 3 and New Vegas. However, one major pro and one major con.
Crafting and Base Building (Aside from fences...screw you gaps in fences!!)
Lack of hardcore mode. The base building seems made for this mode. The fact I don't actually need to eat and sleep takes some of the experience away for me and I miss it. Also, no trophies for higher difficulties means playing on normal for me.
Just found out that eating and drinking are more important than they were in Vegas, at least on Survival, since you can cook a lot of different meals than offers very different bonuses, not only HP!
