A really good list - the only games I wish were in are Silent Hill 2 or 3, or the first MGS (but Snake Eater's in there so no matter!)

I personally think we're going to have some surprise winners. I'm backing quite a few I'd like to win but we shall see!

How will the next round work @themcnoisy?

@themcnoisy: It really depends on who gets drawn together and at what stage. Its entirely possible that a game that is 'weaker' could reach the later stages than some of the perceived favourites. I know some franchises are very popular here - like MGS/FF for example and games like the Witcher 3, although great, wasn't played by as many people - particularly as it was the first time the Witcher series has been on PS. This makes it difficult to predict. It also depends on who votes and when they joined Playstation - some older PS exclusives may not get the votes because people didn't play them whilst multi-platform games mat get more support because people played them on other platforms.

Real strong lineup, plenty of quality games in there. Shame Battlefront 2 didn't get through, but so many of my favourites are in so I can't complain

I'm still in shock that Dark Souls didn't make it I hope Bloodborne, the Witcher 3 or Rocket League wins, I have a feeling they'll all be in the mix near the end, i think a PSONE game will probably win helped by a nostalgia rush

@Churchy: Straight battles, winner goes through. the last vote will be rolled back in the event of a draw - so there wont be any draws! Thanks for taking part, I'm a bit disappointed SH2 never made it through. Class game.

@biggsamus: Thanks for joining in. Round 3 starts on Monday - the last 64 are getting whittled down to 32. Its gonna be pretty tight.

@biggsamus: there were some tough groups out there. I think everyone has that "How the heck did this not get in? So shocked!" - for me, that would have to be Skyrim. I also cannot believe that my favorite Crash Bandicoot is the only naughty dog one to not make it in.

Round 3

Straight up battles between games, dead simple you pick your favourite. The game you pick will then get 1 point. Every 48 hours the votes will be counted up and the winners go through to the last 32.

Big Rule 1) There will be no draws. For example if there is a draw say Game A vs Game B and the score is 8-8 at the end of 48 hours the last cast vote will be taken away, so the score would then be 8-7.

Big Rule 2) Games in similar franchises have been drawn together - however once we are into the last 32 it will be completely random, doing this will mean more variety of franchises in the last 32.

Big Rule 3) Due to the odd number of games in some franchises rule 2 was not possible in every instance so please don't freak out when a final fantasy, gta or uncharted game pops up in a battle against another game.

Everyone join in we have ran this for 2 months and this section will take a maximum 16 days. Lets do this!
