So it begins the hunt for the best Playstation game of all time. There will be multiple rounds, loads of battles and hopefully run until the Summer. In the last PSBGOAT Final Fantasy 7 prevailed. Winning the overall best game of all time on any platform. This is PS specific and you can only pick games from the PS1, 2, 3, 4, PSP and Vita. Will final fantasy 7 come out on top again? To start with; Prologue. Pick your 8 favourite ever ps games. A maximum of 4 games off any one platform. This will run for the next 2 weeks until the competition begins proper. Any game picked multiple times will start the competition in round 2. Games picked once will start in round 1. Games not picked at all will be out! Games remastered from a previous generation don't count (sonic cd / 1942 / street fighter 2 etc) but games from a previous generation with enough extra content to arguably be a new release will. Hope this makes sense. Please include the platform alongside your selection. Example - The Last of Us PS4. If there's any issues or disagreements I've enrolled some of the forum stalwarts @BAMozzy @kyleforrester87 and @iDangerMouse_ as arbitrators of the rules - I did ask you all last year ;) In case any problems arise (which hopefully they wont) Get picking people - come on Ridge Racer Type 4 you can do it!

@Biolan: Sorry my friend, playstation home was deemed a none game. Fortunately after this round every game is fit for purpose. So you wont waste any more votes. Thanks for joining in and hopefully you have a lot of your original 8 picks in round 2.
