So that wraps up this section of the cup. We have 173 games left. We will have 19 groups of 9 with the top 3 going through to round 3. Games will be dropping quickly. During the draw for this round (on Tuesday) only the top 5 games from round 1 are ranked. And will slot into separate groups before the draw takes place. So we could have some crazy tough groups.

Round 2 starts on Friday.

How long will each round last this time?

@ztpayne7: 24 days (that's a guess) 19 leagues with 9 teams in each. A league a day and one over sat/sun. The hardest and longest bit is next when @BAMozzy starts picking numbers later on. I will chuck you an invite later bro.

The draw is done - That took forever. But the groups are all in place. Some of these groups are tough. There is one in particular with a ranked game (top 5 from the prolouge) an uncharted, spyro, Mass effect, Fallout and Resident evil game. Lookout for group F! I will be back on Thursday evening to kick this all off.

Funniest thing. I'd written all the games down and was ready for a third party to pick then. Bam wasn't online so I entered a party with the rocket league lads and asked them to help. I didn't realise 2 of the party didn't have a clue who I was or what I was doing until about fifteen games in. They thought I was asking random numbers and must of thought I was a nut case.

@BAMozzy: Will do boss, the important draw is next round. The last 64. That will be quicker, I finished the draw for this round in a couple of hours.

ROUND 2 RULES

You have 7 points to give to 3 games in each group. You can split these points up how you like. I.e) 4, 2, 1 or 5,1,1 or 3,3,1 or 3,2,2. But you can only pick 3 games. No more no less. And each game has to have a minimum of 1 point. If you pick more or less games your vote is void. So to summarise 3 games - 7 points between them.

Round 2 starts at midnight tonight. Exciting.

These games were all put in different groups prior to the draw as they were the top 5 games picked by everyone in the prolouge. What that does mean is the likes of Bloodborne (6th), Crash and other popular games could be in their groups too. As I mentioned in a previous post group F looks tasty. But there's also a chance some leftfield games could sneak into the last 64.Top 3 games from each group go through, there's also a single group of 10 were 4 games qualify. The best scoring 4th placed games will also have a shot as the 6 best placed runners up. Anything 5th and below is dead in the cup.
