Topic: Playstation Store region locked?

Hey folks. I was wondering the following:

Im from austria, native german speaker, living in austria, I prefer the english/original version of everything where possible though. My english well enough to enjoy all sorts of media or art in their intended language (of course if it's suaheli or something like that the english vocalization has to do).

I always got my games from amazon.co.uk for my english fix this generation.

When on the PC, I have my steam account set to english language, thus it shows me all content in english and I can get my PC games digitally in english.

On the PS3 (or even XBOX) digital online store, it still shows me german content regardless of my system language.

What to do about this issue on PS4 since I want to go fully digital but don't want the mostly censored or badly voice-acted GERMAN versions of my games but the UK (or even US) ones. Is there any info out about this one yet or does anyone know about a fix for it or workaround on current gen?
Is some kind of IP spoof the only thing that will help?

there isn't a work around the store is set for whatever region your PSN ID is (so if you set you live in the UK for example it shows the UK store only)

if you want access to other stores on the PS3 then you will have to make a new account and set it to the other places you want IE: if you want a US account you would have to say you live in the USA and provide a US address

(i have 3 accounts my main UK on that's where i live, a US one and a Japanese one so i can access the stuff on their stores but keep in mind US DLC for example will NOT work with a UK, EU or JP version of a game you would need the US version of the game too)

so no it's not based on you IP Address but on where you said you lived when you created the account
