Topic: PS4 Internal HDD

Is there a way that I can find out what is on the internal HDD without the console, I had a power surge and it partly messed up the console?

I recently had it sent to a repair shop because the USB port was not working and they said that it needed a graphics chip and then a few weeks later, I went back and they said that I'll have to a another PS4.
