Hey guys! I'm trying to decide whether or not to get a second controller in the beginning. My fiancée (by then, wife) is open to playing games with me. What are the local co op games we know about? This could be any form of game, whether retail, digital (indies too!) or free to play.

So far, I can only think of the three shooters, possibly sports, and driveclub. We aren't much into sports games and she can only handle so many first person shooters.  Do we know of any others?

Epic

Diablo 3 and may Call of Duty ghosts might be the only Co-Op choices if we don't count sports on PS4 launch line up.

Well the only ones I can think of off the top of my head are.

Diablo III

Lego Marvel Super Heroes

Ohhh. I forgot about diablo. We might be interested in that one. I've never played the series before.

Do we know of any indies that might be two player? I think I saw mercenary kings or something that looked like it might be. But that's not much reason to buy a ps4 I suppose!

@ztpayne7 You may not need to buy that second controller in the beginning. On the US PlayStation Blog I got a reply about Knack and the Vita.

You can absolutely play with a VITA as a second controller through remote play – I was playing the game this way yesterday and having a blast with a friend of mine. (It doesn't skip a beat!)

I wonder if Lego Marvel SuperHeroes will work the same?

So for a release list of local co op games is there only Knack and Lego Marvel SuperHeroes?

I'm assuming there's also minecraft.  My wife really wants to play it so it might convince me to get one. I kind of want to wait for the blue one though.
