@Lzeon: Can't beat the Witcher 3 for a rpg recommendation. Many people view the Dark Souls games (and Bloodborne) as more mature Zelda games or modern Zelda games, they share a familiar sense of discovery, difficulty (as older Zelda's had) and dungeon navigation (in the Souls case, this would be the different areas in a gameworld), Super Meat Boy is a very good platformer if your looking for a Mario like experience although it's much harder and more scaled back than Mario.
@Lzeon: Some of the download titles I recommend are Axiom Verge (especially if your a big Metroid fan) and Dust an Elysian Tale. Resogun is great too if you like arcade shooters and Guns, Gore and Cannoli is a great run and gun type game.

Ratchet and Clank is only $20 right now with Amazon Prime. Hurry because these deals usually sell out fast. Just thought I'd leave this here for anyone interested.
@Lzeon:
"I like Zelda, Mario, Kirby, and RPGs. Got any recommendations for me?"
I, my good sir, am a serious Nintendo/Sony gamer. I know better than most exactly what kind of games you're looking for, trust me
So ok. Let's start with Mario. Ima be honest- PS4 isn't the best system to scratch that kinda itch, but there are still options. Personally, I'd recommend just scooping DKC Tropical Freeze, Yoshi's Wooly World and Rayman Legends if you're looking for solid technical platformers, but I'm guessing you've already exhausted the Wii U library at this point. With that in mind, the best platformers on PS4, imo are (not LBP3, just no) Tearaway (it's more of an immersive, creative game than a technical skill-based platformer, but like I said choices are slim on PS4), Ratchet & Clank (probably the best platformer on PS4) and Trials Fusion (not exactly the same but, trust me if you like technical skill based platforming, this technical skill based game is one to consider).
As for Zelda, hmmm. Again, not much in that same vein, but there are a good number of adventure type games. I'd say Witcher 3 (which is also an RPG), Tomb Raider (definitely has the whole adventure/puzzle thing going on) and Darksiders 2 (yes it's on Wii U and gamepad integration is top-shelf but the screen tearing kills it- get PS4 version trust me). And when Rise of the Tomb Raider drops, definitely get that. Oh my goodness that game is better than, or at least equal to, Uncharted 4. You'll probably like it more cause it's got better gameplay (story isn't as good though, but it's still good don't get me wrong).
As for RPG's you have come to the right console my friend. PS is the RPG hub (which is why I love it so much).
-Valkyria Chronicles (rivals even Fire Emblem as best SRPG ever made)
-Final Fantasy X (one of the greatest games ever made)
-Bastion and Transistor (both from Super Giant Games- best downloadable PSN games you can buy)
-Dragon Age Inquisition (SO SO SO SO good, get this game, thank Jaxon later)
-Dark Souls 3 (fan of Monster Hunter? This game is for YOU. And if you're not a fan of MH come see me, we need to fix that)
-Dark Souls 2 (play 3 first)
-Dragon Quest Heroes (I know you loved Hyrule Warriors- you'll love this too, perhaps even more)
-Divinity Original Sin (awesome game)
-Fallout 4 (not a traditional RPG but a solid game nonetheless)
-Borderlands Handsome Collection (great games, but a certain sense of humor may be off putting)
-Tales of Zesteria (it's decent, you know Tales games are B-grade RPG's but always decent)
-Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth (yep- scratch that Poke-itch, go right ahead)
-Salt & Sanctuary (like a 2D Dark Souls)
Other Games You'll Love As a Nintendo Gamer
-Axiom Verge (Metroid fan? Here's a small appetizer- 1/1000 as good as Ori & Blind Forest but, you don't have X1 so...)
-DMC (liked Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2? Here ya go, come get some!)
-Devil May Cry 4 (play DMC first)
-Fez (like Paper Mario? The OLD Paper Mario? This is for you)
-Gravity Rush (not really like anything, just has a very "Nintendo" vibe to it, and it's awesome)
-Lara Croft & Temple of Osiris (Think "Zelda Four Swords" or "Zelda Triforce Heroes")
-Odin Sphere (play Murumasa for Wii? This is even better)

I will admit, Little Big Planet 3 was much better than previous entries. I even borderline had fun with the game. Its probably more similar to Kirby than anything else, but I played Kirby Planet Robobot and it's much, MUCH better than LBP3. Even so, there may be a chance you'll like it. Still, I'd prioritize pretty low in comparison to all the other choice gems I've listed.

@Kidfried:
I thought Unravel was ok. After Yoshi's Wooly World though, it just didn't do anything for me.
But ya, PS4 does have a lot of those you mentioned- I was more referring to games he doesn't already have access to.
Yooka Laylee though, that game is all hype right there.

@KratosMD: I've heard of SOMA, but don't know much about it. I'll check it out though, thanks. I might wait for sale. Unfortunately I'm in the US so it's not on sale.
Soma is superb. The brief trailer doesnt do the game any justice what so ever. One of the few games I have played through as the story was that good. There is a general sense of foreboding when exploring that you get as you really dread what you might discover around the corner and overall the gameplay may be simplistic compared to other games, but it works perfectly within the story and world you are in... If it over-complicated things, I dont think the game would have worked nearly as well...
i picked it up in the sale a fortnight or so ago and well worth it..
I stood there chattering in excitement, like a necrophile at a bus crash....
I'm choosing between Brothers a tale of two sons, velocity 2x and Axiom verge. Which one do you recommend the most? I like the genres of all these games!
@kyleforrester87: Yeah, I was leaning towards that one, being a huge Metroid fan and all! Might pick up Velocity also since it's quite cheap, played it?
