I got a code too, I'm assuming its all free, looks that way...
If it's anything like the NA beta was then yes it's all free for now anyway. I think the reason for that is so the can test server stability and connection and the best way to do that is have as many people on as you can.

I just got into this now. Thinking of playing uncharted 3 but I haven't played the other two, I've played the vita one and the last of us remastered. They were badarse. Does playing the third one affect the story or should I wait for the inevitable collection?

Each Uncharted game's story is pretty much standalone but Nathan Drake has built up relationships with a few characters by the third one that you kind of miss out on if you haven't played the first 2. Personally, I'll wait for the collection because it MUST be happening and soon. You can always try out Uncharted 3's multiplayer instead but I don't know if it's recommended since your cloud streaming.
@adf86 Ah yeah thanks for letting me know. I'll probably wait for the collection hopefully thats what they're working on now. Then if it isn't out before 4 Ill just play through the ones that are on ps now then get that. Then the collection if one comes out. So far this ps now works really well for hour and half I've played lego batman 2, I can't complain. Free games! Anyone know how long this stage of the beta will last?

Not sure mate could be as long as it was in America which was about 9 months. Can't take advantage of it sadly as my Internet isn't good enough.
I've been playing lego batman 2 and the graphics seem to look really bad when I'm free roaming Gotham. Really fun game but idk if its just old or its the stream quality. But then the cut scenes look really good (for a lego game). Apart from that the response time etc all feels like Im just playing a game on my console. My speed is 50mbs dowload and it drops to around 35 mb's but rarely. Anyone else notice this problem or just me?
Image quality is the only issue I have with PSNow so far. Sony says its been built to work on at least 5mb connections, but it doesn't seem to scale upwards in quality with faster connections. Warhawk looks pretty bad R&C Nexus and WRC4 have looked better, though still a tad softer than I was expecting. Hopefully its something Sony looks in to later.
To be honest I've been pleasantly surprised by how playable it is. The Digital Foundry piece I read made it sound worse than Remote play, but I find it to be better than that. I haven'treally noticed any latency yet on R&C Nexus, even when playing Warhawk online as well (managed to finish 4th on the leaderboard) WRC4 has been a big surprise, breezing through rallies with ease. Anyone that says racing games can't work on the service are talking mince. Then again I am on 100mb fibre and the Ps4 is wired up with Ethernet, so I've shored up most outside influences on latency pretty much.
Well, for me having played a bit of Raiden and up to chapter 8 on Uncharted I'd have to say I'm incredibly impressed.
Raiden looked and responded as if it were running on the PS4 itself. Uncharted, while not quite pin sharp, looked fantastic too, but the remote play control lag did present itself for about a third of my playtime, very evident when aiming. I also had some video stream issues- but I'd pit that down to increased traffic on the router.
I'm playing over wifi on Sky's standard 17mb (though it never hits that) Broadband.
I would think wired with a decent fiber service would be stellar.
If I had a wired set up, I'd have no issue paying for PS Now
PSN: KALofKRYPTON (so you can see how often I don't play anything!)

I did finally hit a quirk on WRC4 last night. The feed froze for a couple of seconds before catching up,but thats been pretty much it. On fibre with Ethernet would no doubt be optimal conditions for PSNow. I'm gonna be trying it on Wi-fi over the weekend though as I'm considering writing a piece on it.
If it stays working this well during the Beta, I could see myself using it every now & again to rent a game for a few bob each weekend at least. Maybe even subscribe for a month when the purse strings are tight so then I have a collection to play through asopposed to maybe one new release. As long as the selection is there anyway....

I am on fibre via Ethernet, I still had several issues with the bigger games, I won't have much interest in the service anyway. If I had to rate it I'd say 8/10.
Well after playing lego batman 2 most of today I've had 0 problems with it, aswell as other people streaming in my house at the same time, quite impressed now.
