Ok so as of lately I have been thinking of getting a PS TV mainly for the PS4 remote play feature. I have my PS4 hooked up to the main TV which gets used alot other people watching hulu, movies etc. and I was thinking of getting a PS TV to hook up to the bedroom tv so when I want I can play it in there when the main TV is in use.
Now I know remote play is only on a few games but the games I want to play have it as a feature listed on the back of the case.
So I have a few questions on remote play.
1. In order to use remote play to I have to have the PS4 playing the game I want to play in the other room. So for example can I still play a game on the PS TV is someone is watching Netflix on the PS4?
2. I know it comes bundled with a PS3 Dual Shock but how does that work for PS4 games? Would I have to sync one of my PS4 controllers to it to play PS4 games with it?
3. @get2sammyb: Did you ever do that PS TV review?
That's all I can think of now so if I do think of something more I will post it here. Thanks in advance for all the answers.

1. No, the PS4 has to be playing the same game. Remote Play is just streaming a picture from the main console, so the processing is all done on the PS4. As such, whatever you see on PS TV will be what you see on your PS4.
2. You can use a DualShock 4 or DualShock 3 with it. There are some minor control differences if you're using the DS3 as it obviously has different inputs, but it's better to just use the DS4.
3. In the pipeline soon, I promise.
It's a bit of a weird device, to be honest. Remote Play is amazing, but doesn't work perfectly for everyone, so I'd recommend borrowing one first to see if it plays nicely with your home network.
Best thing to do is get a chromecast! My daughter had my PS3 in her room for ages for Netflix so I got her a Chromecast and I now have my PS3 back. Happy Days.
I too myself was thinking of getting a PS TV but my wife likes to watch a lot of Netflix on the PS4 so I would not be able to play anyway
I'm a huge supporter of the PlayStation TV and love mine to death. Just a heads up though, It doesn't support Netflix or Hulu+ yet (at least in NA). Crackle works.. and has Seinfeld so who cares?
PlayStation TV does have Freedom Wars and Soul Sacrifice Delta though... which makes it pretty much the best ever.
Also, I'm pretty sure remote play should work on all PS4 games whether or not they list it on the box. Only dvd/blurays and some streaming services (Netflix/Hulu) get blocked if I recall correctly.
@Zed +1 for the Chromecast. Now just get one for your wife and you'll get the PS4 back too
EDIT: Alsooooo I would really recommend getting a standalone PlayStation TV and just buying an extra DualShock 4 (or moving yours back and forth). If you're using a DS3 and Remote Playing a PS4 game, you lose the ability to use the touchpad and rely solely on games allowing you to remap those functions. Vita games can still emulate the touchscreen/rear touch pad with a DS3 using L3/R3, but Remote Play games CANNOT.

@get2sammyb: Ok that's what I thought that it had to be the same game which is no biggie for me.
@ZeD: This is kinda of combining your response and Sammy's. I just got a Roku stick so watching Netflix, Hulu etc. on the main TV without the PS4 is not a problem. Its the fact that the tv is in use when I want to play lol.
@NathanUC: Again not so much worried about the PS TV hot having Netflix, Hulu etc. To be honest I have so many other devices that can play those that it doesn't matter I am just mainly looking for something so that my son or I can still play our PS4 games when the tv is in use otherwise.
Thanks guys for the info looks like next pay check I will picking one up.

I didn't know Soul Sacrifice Delta worked on PlayStation TV yet, so I'm going to try that later Nathan. I quite like the device, too, but it's a really weird product. It sounds to me like it will probably suit your needs Tasuki, but make sure you can return it or whatever before shelling out - just in case.
I'll get that review done soon, just got sidetracked over Christmas.
@get2sammyb: Ok well maybe I will put the money aside and wait for your review. Even if it doesn't suit my needs I wouldn't mind just using it for Vita games.
