Topic: PushSquare sister site(s)

I recently stumbled upon the Nintendo Life website when looking for a review for a Switch game. It wasn’t long before I realised the layout was the same as Push Squares, only all Nintendo related stuff (obviously), so concluded the sites are run by the same people/company. Is there another site in this “family” for all things Xbox?

@Nightcrawler71 @Rick_Deckard While it's not a sister site, TheXboxHub is a dedicated Xbox news site. I think there's even a couple people from Pure Xbox, the late Xbox sister site, writing articles there.

Also worth mentioning that Push Square and Nintendo Life use the same accounts. So the email address and password you use to log in to Push Square can also log you in to Nintendo Life without having to make a second account there.

Woah, I never knew that!

It's a shame Pure Xbox isn't still going as I only used that briefly before it shut down. Obviously appreciate that it takes a big effort to run a news & entertainment website like this.

Used to be a member of X-360 forums which was also a physical magazine too a few years back. They were sections which your posts could appear in the mag, which was kinda cool. The both closed down a couple of years back unfortunately which is why i migrated to these hallowed pages.

Anyway you might be better off asking in the dedicated Xbox thread.

@Nightcrawler71 Pushsquare and Nintendo life are part of NLife media. If you go to the bottom of the Web page it will say © NLife media, part of Gamer Network. You can click on both links (NLife and gamer network) to find out more.

Gamer network has all these websites;

EUROGAMER
USG
GAMESINDUSTRY
METABOMB
EUROGAMER IN EUROPE
VG247
ROCK PAPER SHOTGUN
NINTENDO LIFE
MOD DB
INDIE DB
PUSH SQUARE
ROADTOVR

Obviously Nintendo life and push are extremely close. Practically the same layout and great writing and articles. I'm unsure how gamer network helps or even how their relationship works. For instance I haven't noticed Eurogamer give push a shout in a long time.

I tend to refer to Nintendo Life and PushSquare as sisters from another misters.

Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot

@antdickens I feel the additional space removes the urgency from the name. I also can't type real good.

@lolwhatno To elaborate on @Kidfried's post, Microsoft messed up last generation by making some stupid decisions to Xbox One such as it had to always be online and you couldn't play used games, so a lot of Xbox users left and got a PS4 instead. Which is why PlayStation and Push Square got more popular last generation while Xbox and Pure Xbox got less popular, and as a result Pure Xbox was shut down. Xbox has become more popular in recent years and now Pure Xbox is back up again.
