Hey there all of you with PS4s!

I have a question that only a couple of you may be able to answer...

When running Remote Play, I've noticed that the ps4 still outputs video and audio to the TV.
My question is whether you can plug a Pulse headset dongle in to the ps4 for audio while connected via Remote Play and have the audio steam to the head set without any syncing issue?

I do not have a ps4 but watching youtube videos indicates that turning off the tv will move the audio to the vita automatically.

The Vita gets the audio anyway, TV on or off.

I just want to know if the PS4 will happily shunt the audio that would go through the TV out to the headset while in Remote Play.

I can test this for you if you'd like.  By headset, do you mean the pulse plugged into the controller?

Hey thanks.

No, I mean the Pulse wireless usb dongle plugged in to to the ps4. If that works as it would have for PS3 (ie, streaming all system audio output to the pulse headset). Then starting remote play.

Basically I want to know if I can use the pulse cans wirelessly with ps4 while using local remote play.

@kalofkrypton

Just wanted to make sure before I broke the news for ya.

The pulse headsets are actually not compatible wirelessly at launch. So the ps4 won't even recognize them (supposedly - I took all the websites' word for it, including sony's FAQ, push square, and game informer.

There will be a patch to make them work. I could try this at that point.

Dang, was hoping the day one patch would sort it.
Have you tried the pulse?

I plugged mine in really fast and was told it's an Unsupported Device. It works with the wire from the DS4, but that's about it for now.
