Topic: So How Many Hours Per Week Do You Game On PS4?

A question we can all answer and something I'm quite interested in. How many hours per week do you game on the PS4?

I average approximately 9 hours per week at the moment, usually an hour a night with a couple of hours on a Tuesday and Sunday.

Hmm good question. It varies but I would guess an average is between 6 and 10 hours a week if not working away. If I play on another platform though, this will drop.

Depends on what game I've got, I spent about 40 hours in the week that I got Skyrim, last time I did that was with Divinity last year. I did have a few days off work that week that helped. Before Skyrim I was playing 30-60 minutes a night on Transformers. Sometimes I don't play anything for a couple of days at a time.

When you're playing a big game you gotta throw yourself into it to get fully absorbed - no point in playing a game like Skyrim in dribs and drabs IMO.

on average 3 to 5 hours before i go to bed (need to wind down after work) so between 21 and 35 hours a week

Not nearly enough..! In between gym & girlfriend i get two nights a week free, but even then I sort of feel guilty if I spend the whole evening gaming.. Dont ask me why.

I'd say between 10-15 hours.

@FaultyDroid: Urgh say what? Feel guilty? Dont be so hard on yourself, let your hair down. Its not as if your banging a different bird. The usb ports too small.

@kyleforrester87: This is a great point, I didn't immerse myself in W3, Fallout 4 or Uncharted 4 due to time constraints. I'm changing this for FF15 and taking time off work especially to immerse myself in the game.

It all depends on a few factors mainly if I have something to play and if I have the time. On average I would say 15 to 25 hours a week.

It's fluctuated massively over the last 6 months or so. Like Kyle above, I've just spent LOTS of hours of Skyrim since it came out but before that I wasn't really playing my PS4 all that much.

Maybe I should feel ashamed that I rebought Destiny for Xbox in September and already racked up nearly 5 days on it :-/

On a regular week, somewhere between 10-15 hours, maybe a bit more if I have some extra spare time. During the holidays, it's often a little more than that, but not by much. It also depends on what I'm playing. I'm still going through The Witcher 3, so I'm more inclined to spend a couple of hours extra on that game, just to make some progress.

At the moment it is very low, I'd say I haven't used it in 2 or more weeks. I have Uncharted 4 to play though so I'd guess there is a ~15 hour week coming up. Between other consoles/handhelds, PC and other hobbies my playtime on any system is likely very erratic.

I think it's somewhere between 10-14 hours depending on the week, I used have more time but I work in a pub at weekends now so that's messing with my gaming ? I'm back on teaching practice for two months so I should have more time during the week now hopefully:)

I'm a early bird so first thing in the morning after an hour jog I cram in 1 hour of gaming before work then after work I usually get 1-2 hours in on a weekday.
On the weekend I probably get in 5 hours a day.

I'd say it ranges from 20-25 hours/week.

Sleep is overrated. I don't need more than 5 hours to function properly. Allows for plenty of gaming, despite having a very 'full' life. No need to compromise.

plus it's not like there is much on TV now a days apart from repeats

I reckon somewhere between 15 and 20 hours for me.
