Sad news I know its a little but late now. But the kickstarter for sociable soccer has been cancelled 2 weeks early. For anyone not aware it was a sequel to Sensible Soccer on the Amiga a truly fantastic football game. Its seems strange to try and get support for the game on kickstarter and then not let the campaign run its full length. By all accounts the game is playable just needs more work. Hopefully it gets picked up by someone else and does get a release.
@dryrain: @Tasuki: Swos on the Amiga is still playable - even today!!! I know....
I played it at the national football museum in Manchester on Sunday the whole 3rd floor is retro gaming heaven. Pes 5 is still brilliant also.
On another note it had only been in development a month. Lets leave swos the way it is (other than minor rule changes) - just add updated kits and teams and that's it.

@themcnoisy: I actually have it on the 360 plus countless other ways to play it as well. That museum sounds neat. Whenever they build a bridge from the US to the UK I will check it out.

Yeah the name was one of the worst I have heard of for a game in years. I still have my Amiga collecting dust in my cupboard. Not been to Manchester Football museum will have to check it out one day not too far from me.
